Proof beyond a reasonable doubt and the right to confront witnesses and produce proof and witnesses to refute the prosecution. After thirty years finding witnesses is impossible especially when the accuser can't specify when the alleged assault took place. A properly neutral court would have thrown the charges and lawsuit out as impossible to defend against.
