Question For John Atheist: Don't You Want To Remember Your Good Deeds Forever?

Good to always bear in mind in such contexts:
The CMB gives a snapshot of the universe when, according to standard cosmology, the temperature dropped enough to allow electrons and protons to form hydrogen atoms, thereby making the universe nearly transparent to radiation because light was no longer being scattered off free electrons. When it originated some 380,000 years after the Big Bang—this time is generally known as the "time of last scattering" or the period of recombination or decoupling—the temperature of the universe was about 3000 K.
  • No hydrogen atoms for first "380,000 years after the Big Bang"
  • Helium, deuterium, and trace lithium began forming after about 3 minutes
  • "Nothing" else could have been "created" during the first 6 days or 6,000 years
  • Hydrogen and the rest only began forming as things cooled down, element by element
  • Galaxies and new matter continue being "created" every day

Even the god of atheists, Darwin does give credit here to a Creator (I know that puts a burr under the saddle of government school grads):
“There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed by the Creator into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.”― Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species
You hypocritical elitist. How many threads have you started where Darwin is evil and ignorant?
None.
Would your answer be the same if I asked 'How many threads have you started where Darwin is evil or ignorant'?

Without the Creator, there would be no humans to fail to be humane.
Without shepherds there would be no sheep to butcher and eat and without slave owners there would be no slaves.
Humans are not required to eat sheep and humans are forbidden to have slaves.
Humans are allowed to have servants...butlers, maids, waiters, waitresses.
I doubt being a voluntary thing is much comfort to the sheep. As to slavery, is that something God forbids or is that your prohibition?
Slavery is forbidden under Noachide law.
The punishment is death.

Humans are not required to eat sheep and humans are forbidden to have slaves.
Thanks to superior, secular ideas.
Actually, the Talmud was way ahead of it’s time in terms of the Scientific Method.
Why else do you think many of our famous rabbis were regarded as geniuses by the non-Jewish world and why do many Orthodox Jews have hard science degrees?

You’re right...
All of those nations that murdered entire civilizations in the name of “god” and no “god” were much nicer than God.
So your defense of God is that his creations are even worse than He is? Seems like a very weak defense to me.
I believe his joke went over your head.

Why would the Creator of existence need defending?
Or it went beneath my notice?

The Creator of existence has, by his own admission, committed crimes against humanity.
Without the Creator, there would be no humans to fail to be humane.

On the other hand:

Darwin undermined the very foundations of a society shaped by the Anglican Church, with its hopes of eternal life and the omnipresent threat of punishment.

"As soon you realize that one species could evolve into another, the whole structure wobbles and collapses," he remarked. And if man were nothing but a superior animal, where would that leave his spiritual dignity? And if he himself is the product of evolution, then what about his moral accountability to God?

I know, right? I’ll bet that’s like sand in the bathing suit to the religious extremists.
What’s the correlation between using Religion to garner power and worshipping the false religion of evolution?

Enslavement of captives
In the Deuteronomic Code, captives obtained through warfare become slaves, as long as Israelites were not among the victims;[12] Exodus and Deuteronomy institute the death penalty for the crime of kidnapping Israelite or any other man to enslave them.[13][14][15] The Code appears to require enslaving the people of cities who surrender during wartime, excepting the cities of six nearby tribes which it requires be destroyed without offer of surrender.[16]

I think you need to face the reality that the Big Bang is the creation of the universe from nothing. The atoms in your body are 14 billion years old, dummy, not infinite in age.

I know you and every other atheist who posts here is offended by this reality because it literally shakes the foundation of your beliefs. But there it is. That's how it is.
The atoms in one's body aren't necessarily either ("14 billion years old" or "infinite in age"), you moron.
Nuclear transmutation is the conversion of one chemical element or an isotope into another chemical element.
Fission is a form of nuclear transmutation because the resulting fragments are not the same element as the original atom.
One "atom" becoming another or others. Happening every day, all the time.
"The universe" could not have logically emerged "from nothing." Thus the notion of a "creator" is BS, no matter how offended you may get when confronted with this reality.
Of course the universe was created from nothing, dummy.

Whites justified slavery as a way to save the soul of the non-believers which then morphed into if the person being enslaved came from an area that wasn't naturally christian---then focused on skin color.
Do you have any proof of this?
Says the guy who never offers up any real proof.
Prove it.
Any post of yours, they all have NO proof, only your made up shit.
Prove it. Show me they have no proof. Link to one.
Anything about the BB popping out of nowhere.
You are a moron. It's accepted science, dummy. Just go to CERN.
CERN isn't about the universe popping out of nothing, they're smashing shit together to see what's inside. See? This is what I'm talking about, your so called proof isn't proof of anything, except that you don't know how to prove something.
No. CERN says the universe was created, dummy.

That the atoms in your body are 14 billion years old.
So the universe was created, and CERN doesn't say that it's by a magic invisible guy who poofs everything into existence from nothing.
CERN says it was created from nothing.

You can't say God didn't create it.

I can say God did create it.

Link me to the exact page and quote that proves that from CERN. I bet you can't.
I’ve linked it to you dozens of times, dummy.

It’s ok if you want to be a science denier, Taz.
You always link to the general CERN site. I'm saying quote the part where they say that the universe popped into being from nothing, and put the link to the page. You can't expect me to search through the whole site, do you? :cuckoo:
I always link to the page that talks about the big bang and starts off asking the question did you know that the atoms in your body were 14 billion years old?

I think you need to face the reality that the Big Bang is the creation of the universe from nothing. The atoms in your body are 14 billion years old, dummy, not infinite in age.

"the Big Bang is the creation of the universe from nothing" You never provided a link. You just keep repeating CERN! CERN! CERN! When that's not even what CERN is about.

And the atoms in my body aren't 14 billion years old, it took a while before the heavier elements were formed. The BB was just hydrogen.
The Conservation of energy/mass say your atoms are 14 billion years old, dummy. All energy and matter started off as sub atomic particles, since that time they have only changed form. Learn some science.

I've given you the link dozens of times, Taz. And this is your stupid response every time.
You give me a general CERN link, never one specific to your point. Go ahead, one last time. You'll see.
I'd rather you keep arguing that the universe wasn't created ~14 billion years ago, Taz.

It shows everyone how stupid you are acting.
See? You can't provide the link and then call me stupid. What? No declaring victory?

Your concession is duly noted.
The only thing I will concede is that you and mumblenuts are idiots.

The word in Hebrew is Ah-Vad-Im, which means Servant.
There is no concept of slavery in Hebrew, only abusive servitude, which is what the Children of Israel we’re subjected to in Egypt.
Slavery, where a human is treated abusively, is forbidden.

I love the phrase, “The Code appears to”!

You mean besides being the only revealed religion?
Revealed to who? There is no evidence to support the claim God revealed anything. Did he reveal anything to Muhammad?

Or the only religion which believes God created the universe from nothing and that man is a product of that creation?
Pastafarians believe in a flying spaghetti monster that is a pretty unique belief and at least we have evidence of pasta.
No other religion MAKES the claim. Judaeo-Christianity literally makes the claim that God sought out man.
And every inmate on death row claims they are innocent. Claims are not evidence.
Bad analogy as no other religion made that claim, dummy.

The Creator of existence has, by his own admission, committed crimes against humanity.
Really? He spoke to you? Or are you interpreting what others have told you?
You should read the Bible, it's all in there.

The reality is you are confused by existence. You can't reconcile how a God who is supposedly good can create a world where there is so much suffering. Your brain can't process it. You blame God for the "evils" of man.
Sorry but I don't think you're qualified to talk about reality. To you the world must be perfect since it was created by a perfect God.
Again, it's not possible for you to read the Bible objectively, so you don't know what it means.

As for my believing the world must be perfect, that's just you not understanding my belief. Which is not surprising since you can't be objective.

All matter particles were created when the universe was created from nothing, Einstein. So the atoms in your body are ~14 billion years old because that's how old ALL matter is in the universe. Since that time it has merely changed form, dummy.

And I love that you are quoting an explanation that is based on the universe being created from nothing.

"Did you know that the matter in your body is billions of years old?

According to most astrophysicists, all the matter found in the universe today -- including the matter in people, plants, animals, the earth, stars, and galaxies -- was created at the very first moment of time, thought to be about 13 billion years ago...." So I've made you slither away from you claim?

Seems to be a pattern.

Without the Creator, there would be no humans to fail to be humane.
Without ignorant, superstitious humans, there would be no fake creator to make claims about.
Then why have atheists committed more murders than any other group?

Death is hardly worth a shrug from their sort.

“During the bitter winter of 1932-33, 25,000 Ukrainians per day were being shot or died of starvation and cold. Cannibalism became common. Ukraine, writes historian Robert Conquest, looked like a giant version of the future Bergen-Belsen death camp.

The mass murder of seven million Ukrainians, three million of them children, and deportation to the gulag of two million more (where most died) was hidden by Soviet propaganda. Pro-communist westerners, like The New York Times' Walter Duranty, British writers Sidney and Beatrice Webb and French Prime Minister Edouard Herriot, toured Ukraine, denied reports of genocide, and applauded what they called Soviet "agrarian reform." Those who spoke out against the genocide were branded "fascist agents." Seven million died in the 'forgotten' holocaust - Eric Margolis

“after [Gareth] Jones began writing and giving speeches about the famine, all the foreign correspondents went to a meeting with the chief Soviet censor, who ordered them to denounce the young reporter as a liar. Lyons admits that all the correspondents knew that Jones' stories were absolutely accurate, even though none of them had reported the famine in their own newspapers, due to "the compelling need to remain on friendly terms with the censors."

[NYTimes hero Walter] Duranty was indeed the most bloodthirsty of the bunch. The line in his story about breaking eggs to make utopian socialist omelettes is dead accurate. And it apparently became a guide post for future generations of Times reporters. …Jones discovers Duranty has filed a New York Times story dismissing him as a credulous amateur. There may be a bit of hunger in the Ukraine, Duranty writes, but absolutely no famine. And anyway, what if there was? "You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs."

As late as 1957, just a few months before Duranty's death, Times publisher Arthur Hays Sulzberger wrote him a personal check for $2,500 when he complained his funds were low. In recent years, the paper has been increasingly uneasy about its old reporter, even hiring a historian to evaluate his Soviet coverage. But when the historian suggested Duranty's Pulitzer be revoked, the Times turned self-righteous. "The notion of airbrushing history kind of gives me the creeps," said Bill Keller, the executive editor at the time.” The Media's Role in Concealing Stalin's Evils Exposed in Mr. Jones

The aspects that identify what we call 'slavery' today, the colloquial meaning, are the following:

a. permanence of bondage

b. treatment as material assets

c. control of the life and death of the slave: the slave could be beaten to death

d. an escaped slave had to be returned to his master….as decreed in the Dred Scott Democrat Supreme Court decision.

None of the above are allowed to the 'slave owner' by the Bible.

"The Bible uses the Hebrew term eved (עבד) and Greek doulos (δοῦλος) to refer to slaves. Eved has a much wider meaning than the English term slave, and in many circumstances it is more accurately translated into English as servant or hired worker."
