Vietnam was a whole different ball game.
One side Buddhist the other Christian.
Whereas, both the Ukrainians and Russians are Orthodox Christians.
So there is an excellent chance the cease fire will be observed by both sides.

I was listening to one of those Youtubers that was intercepting Russian soldier's phone calls home.

One of them was talking about there being a big rumor that the Russians are going to start a withdrawal within a few days.

Don't know how credible it is and of course military rumors usually are not accurate but that Russian soldier seemed to think it was.
