Yup. That's the two-party clusterfuck in a nutshell. If we thought things were bad under Pedo Joe ... just wait until the next woke lunatic takes office. They'll double down out of sheer revenge.
Of all of the crazy assed things Democrats talk about doing...packing the court is probably the craziest. What are some possible consequences of a blue tsunami breaking in 2026 and cresting in 2028?
Public trials of prominent conservatives from Elon Musk and "Big Balls" to Trump himself would require at least one precursor.
Packing SCOTUS appears to be the key to perpetuating any radical makeover Democrats might implement:
"It's Going To Get Really Serious": Liberal Influencers Discuss Public Trials, Court Expansion After Democratic Takeover | ZeroHedge
"Years ago, Harvard professor Michael Klarman laid out a radical agenda to change the system to guarantee Republicans 'will never win another election.'
"However, he warned that 'the Supreme Court could strike down everything I just described.' Therefore, the court must be packed in advance to allow these changes to occur.
This week, Democratic strategist James Carville laid out the step-by-step process of how the pack-to-power plan would work.
With three years left in Trump's second pillage of America many Democrats and Independents believe it's essential to hold his family and associates responsible for their many crimes.Of all of the crazy assed things Democrats talk about doing...packing the court is probably the craziest.
Okay...fine...put 17 justices on the court and you get some rulings in your favor. Then as time goes on, you probably end up with the same dynamics except instead of the power on the court swinging on one or two presidencies...it swings on 4 or 5 to replace not 3-4 but 8-9 justices.
And, oh by the way, there is no guarantee that the judges you install in the “packing” will be dependable left leaning as time goes by.
We should pass a constitutional amendment setting it at 9 justices.
But we should also codify it that the Senate has to confirm/reject someone by floor vote withing 90 days of a vacancy. No more Garland maneuvers.

Being not MAGA is all the radical the takeover needsWhat are some possible consequences of a blue tsunami breaking in 2026 and cresting in 2028?

From last August:Amen!
The refusal to blast Netanyahu by Harris is one thing that hurt her. Any Democrat that chose to continue blind support of Israel is going to have a very hard time winning in these mid terms.
Just in general, it's amazing how shortsighted partisans are. They can't seem to get it through their heads that every new power they claim for government, when their stooge is in power, will be available to the "other side" when they're in power.Of all of the crazy assed things Democrats talk about doing...packing the court is probably the craziest.

Not obvious enough to break through party programming.I don't know what's going to happen in the elections, but I sure do wonder why neither party has learned that shoving your goddamn one-sided agendas down our throats for the first two years might very well piss off the electorate and get you voted out.
I'm not sure how much more goddamn obvious this has to get.
There's no paranoia involved when it comes to holding Trump and his crime family accountable for their corruption.Excuse me, your paranoia is shoiwng.
Maybe not. But there is stunning political stupidity. There's no paranoia involved when it comes to holding Trump and his crime family accountable for their corruption.
That's what commitment to an ideology does to people. Not obvious enough to break through party programming.
Unfortunately, there's no ideology at play here. The two parties jettisoned consistent principles long ago. Neither side is chasing an ideal, they're only after power. That's what commitment to an ideology does to people.
Game over.If dumbass Dems pack the court to 13, the GOP will just pack it to 27. Make that 127!
This is not a game they can win.
You so-called nonpartisans have no solutions. Republicans have stacked the court. McConnell denied Obama a justice and then rushed in 2 justices during election years when a Republican was in office, that's stacking.Just in general, it's amazing how shortsighted partisans are. They can't seem to get it through their heads that every new power they claim for government, when their stooge is in power, will be available to the "other side" when they're in power.
And the hysterical rhetoric adds another level to this road to ruin. Because every over-the-top claim about one party is used by the other as an excuse to the same, or worse. Even if the claim was purely imaginary to begin. That's really what's driving MAGA. They take in all the ridiculous paranoia and use it as justification for any evil their leaders indulge. After all, leftists want to kill them - so it's just self defense.
So now, in the name of "getting even", the left wants to stack the Court. And if they succeed, the right will seethe in anger and plot their own revenge.
What a shitshow.
If that ever happened, IMHO, the rioters headed to DC wouldn't be carrying flags like on J6Game over.
This has long been the plan among far-left figures, but it is now being embraced by establishment figures as essential to securing a radical agenda to achieve lasting power.
