Saw your reply just now and went looking for an update on the "investigation" of the use of force. Using multiple search arguments, I found nothing later than Sept 10 and that was a just a re-hash, no word on an investigation by West Virginia.
As it sounds at this point, I have no reason to think it wasn't just a hit and cover up by West Virginia and US Marshalls.
