Problems with the edit function

I use that function a lot and lately I have been noticing that what I put in whilst 'editing' is left out when I submit the post. Then I have to go back and do it over...and sometimes over again.

The only time I have a problem is when copying and pasting some images. I then have to save them to my pad and upload them, if pasting doesn’t work. I have safari browser.

If you are editing a post, you cannot "easily"insert "quotes" you forgot to insert during Creation of original post.

Oh I see. There is sort of a way to edit-insert quoted messages. Different but similar?
