Again, Just so we're clear on this. "For Libertarian leaning folks."

I didn't see a libertarian section around here.

What's up with the LP lately? I haven't heard much from them in the last couple of years. The Mises Caucus taking over made some headlines. Supposedly they were cleaning out the die hard left leaning libertarians and trying to bring the LP back to something that resembled the Ron Paul R3VOlUTION. But all the news died down about as fast as it came.
I found my states LP Facebook page and found it was as dead as a doornail. I struck up a conversation on one if their threads, and was asking a few basic questions to see where the party was and if they'd gotten the party back in shape.
The only ones that replied were the ones who were still pushing for legalizing drugs and protecting trans and gay people. Pushing that a LOT harder than fiscal conservatism.
But this was just FB. So I realize this may not reflect the LP's leadership.

Anyone keeping up with the LP lately? Neither Biden nor Trump is going to get my vote (again). So I'm in search for a party who's more fiscally conservative.

sabotaged/hijacked like the two main ones.

Bob Barr and Gary Johnson were good.

Since then, same ol'....

Can't even weed out homO's hero and 1/6 Guest of Honor Jacob Chansley, gay left wing hate hoaxer....

The bottom line is no one is attacking all of these fringe, lunatic groups. They have existed forever and they will continue to exist. The narrative needs to return to what is best for the majority of Americans. Too much attention has been given to these irrelevant, inconsequential, fringe groups at the expense of every majority group in America. As a result, America has become a laughing stock.

Honestly I was leaning towards Libertarian but the Biden/Harris Administration ruined all that. They can't leave anything well enough alone (when it comes to them dictating our country) so neither can I anymore.

I haven't watched this yet. I'm about to though. Hopefully it'll contain more than talking points.

Ok, so I'm almost 1/2 way through this video, and this is boring. Not at all what I was hoping for.

Have no time for Silver....He hasn't been right about anything in going on two decades.

Don't know why Gillespie is giving that douche canoe any oxygen.

I've been a few hours trying to re-learn about the LP. And I can't make heads or tails of where they are.

Jeeeeze-Loueeze, when I stopped supporting and paying attention to the LP, there were only a couple of factions. A few still stuck on the legalize all drugs things. But the biggest part was the Ron Paul people who were like me, more concerned with saving the USD, ending inflation and what creates it. Bringing jobs back so that immigration wouldn't be an issue. And ending our military occupations & wars around the world. You know, important stuff that affects 90% of the country and us citizens.

It's a binary system

Libertarians
Unicorns

Same thing.

The best they can do this year is to nominate a porn industry leader to be president of the United States. Pretty embarrassing so they don't talk about it much.

They pissed away all the brains, communication skills, and credibility that Harry Browne brought to the party.

The Paulians have morphed into the Mises Caucus which is currently in the leadership positions but faces organised opposition from the GOP lite faction that ran it after the Harry Browne days.

Dope isn’t a driver at the moment, it is kind of a side thing. Legalize everything and be prepared to be personally responsible for the results of your usage.
Other messaging is generally a muddled version of the Paul campaigns. He, Von Mises, and Rothbard are the current patron saints and infighting is the primary activity.

Just like they took over the TEA Party and turned it into crap.....That's how controlled opposition rolls.
Controlled =GTG with ( 3rd Trimester Abortion ) ( Sensible Firearm Restrictions) ( Legalized Drugs ) ( Pathway/ Amnesty ) ( Collectivism Lite ) ...

I am a Conservative with strong Libertarian leanings.

I disagree with them on a few things. Like they are pro abortion. They believe in open borders providing the shitheads coming in get absolute nothing from the government. They also believe in legalized drugs, which I find very destructive.

However, mostly everything else I agree with them on.
