My best friend had everything going for him one minute,
the next his wife and 2 year old son pulled into the driveway to find
him hanging in the oak tree in the front yard. A suicide note taped to the door.
This was 1987 back in Atlanta Ga...it was drugs, mostly coke. Luckily he didn't drag me down the same road, but this shook me up a little ...went on like a year-long drinking binge after that, which isn't easy working 2 jobs ....it wore off after my first son was born in 89.
