I appreciate your argument and certainly when warranted, a hearing should always be the case. I also appreciate that a Title 8 or other hearing for all 20+ million migrants who shouldn't be here is simply not feasible. And there should always be a way to send someone here who cannot prove citizenship or who does not possess the proper VISA or other credentials that gives them permission to be here back to wherever they came from by virtue of the fact they broke the law coming here in the first place.Right. But if we claim to be a country of laws, we should follow them, no matter who they benefit or who they punish.
You don't need a trial in the traditional sense. Just a Title 8 hearing.
And finding them all isn't either, nor is keeping them here to unduly influence our elections. However, if you want to maximize the amount of deportations, the process needs to be streamlined.I also appreciate that a Title 8 or other hearing for all 20+ million migrants who shouldn't be here is simply not feasible.
Bingo. Jus Sanguinis is the appropriate method here. I'm glad someone picked up on that.No more jus solis citizenship.
As for your entire post, I agree with the majority of it.I appreciate your argument and certainly when warranted, a hearing should always be the case. Our immigration laws should be amended to:
--only those from countries designated by our government should be able to get immediate asylum. That's the way it used to be at least as recently as the 1980s.
--No more jus solis citizenship. Children are automatically citizens only when they born to at least one citizen parent. Considering original intent in the Constitution, we should not need a constitutional amendment to do that.
--No more immigration via lottery. Those received as new immigrant to the USA should meet certain standards that gives them an excellent chance to succeed here and be contributors to the USA instead of a drain on its resources. And those admitted as immigrants should be able to support themselves from day one or have private sponsors who will provide them with essential needs until they can provide for themselves. Nobody should come to the USA expecting the government to support them.
--No more chain migration. A husband, wife and their minor children can be admitted as new immigrants if they meet the immigration standards required. But their adult children, parents, aunts, uncles, cousin, etc. will have to apply and be admitted on their own merits.
These I know are all concepts supported by President Trump and at least the vast majority of his team. They should be supported by all Americans.
And quietly and without fanfare, the Trump Administration that is the ONLY administration we've had in a very long time dedicated to world peace has negotiated peace between Pakistan and India. Will the mainstream media give him credit for that? Probably not. But I wanted it recorded here.
And that's why I keep beating the drum that we who share the MAGA vision of a strong, free, secure, prosperous America that promotes cooperation and world peace must step up and be far more proactive in getting that message out there to counter the 98% negative propaganda being put out by the Democrats and their surrogate media. No they won't.. anything that Trump does they're against....that's the Democrats platform
If Trump is normal, I'd be perfectly comfy being considered abnormal. If Trump is normal, I'd be perfectly comfy being considered immoral. It's the alternate universe. So it fits.Anyone that believes that Trump is a moral person, is someone to stay away from. He degrades, insults, cons, lies, and everything and anything to gain benefit for himself, no matter the cost to others.
Of TDS is ravaging their little pea brainsSo according to texts I received this morning:
The left is suing President Trump for:
--Eliminating the obvious fraud at USAID
--Firing dishonest, unaccountable bureaucrats
--Taking dead people off the Social Security rolls
And I would bet at least a very good hamburger and fries that every leftist here at USMB will support those lawsuits.
If Trump is normal, I'd be perfectly comfy being considered abnormal. If Trump is normal, I'd be perfectly comfy being considered immoral. It's the alternate universe. So it fits.
He is a immoral child with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He fits the definition perfectly. I don't want to be like him, nor do I want anyone remotely like him around me.
Notice that you people with the TDS psychosis...
Unless you can point to anything he does as President as being 'immoral' and can hold yourself up as a model of personal virtue, you don't have much argument here.If Trump is normal, I'd be perfectly comfy being considered abnormal.
