So I am started to understand something, if Thune does not ensure the SAVE Act is passed, he is not going to win in 2028.

Since there has been so much twitter stuff on a guy like Massie, who I suspected to be a debt hawk but perhaps I was wrong, I have watched a few videos and opinions. Regardless, with Trumps endorsement of Paxton over Cornyn, he is sending a strong message "if you do not promote the agenda, I do not care who you are or how entrenched, I will put my weight behind their opponent". This includes Thunes re-election in 2028, right?

Perhaps Trump is more calculating on this than I suspected, he does not want to lose the midterms and the second half of his presidency.

What am I missing? Is he going to defend MAGA via public endorsements?

Thune has always been a slick pretender. I've never liked or trusted him. I wouldn't be surprised to see a MAGA candidate challenge him for the Republican nomination.

Massie picked fights with Trump and Trump beat him.

I really don't know what you guys think the Save Act is going to accomplish?
