Yeah, whatever. I guess I'll go on loving life and being highly optimistic about the country as I enjoy the weekend with my family. You and FF can go on about how much you hate Trump. Have at it.
Funny thing is that he agrees with 95% of Trump's policy positions. But his media has trained him to hate the President. It's a cult thing.

You can’t have a rational discussion with people whom you call cult members simply because we recognize the harm done by Leftist policies and voted against them.
Your inability to accept the truth about trump verifies you as a cult member. Useless to try to talk or reason with you.

I agree with you that so many leftwingers are affected this way. But with the constant nine-year bombardment of hate memes from the mainstream media, it's inevitable many will hate Trump even though they agree with all his policies. And I bet if you asked Mac why he hates Trump or which position he disagrees with, he can't tell you. The same goes for you.
Exhibit D^^

For those not familiar with narcissism, these comments are really meant for an audience of one: himself.

If I get annoyed or upset, that's like sprinkles on top, to this person.

What he definitely is not capable of -- not ever -- is an honest discussion of points I made. To even act in this normal, honest, adult way would from the start grant legitimacy to what I said, in his mind.

And that is not allowed.

Pray tell, how can the majority be a 'cult', when the word is defined as a tiny minority?

This exaggeration and dishonesty is as predictable as the sunrise. For reasons already mentioned.

Okay, so I'll pledge to keep any criticism or any degree of attacks out of this conversation. Hopefully you will too, but we'll see how it goes.

Full Disclosure: I've been able to adjust my relationships with my Trump-voting friends and family to where we either don't discuss politics, or we just keep our political conversations at a point where we're agreeing on something. That's it. Those relationships are too important to us to risk. Period.

So I'm going to ask you guys the question I would ask them if I were willing to risk those relationships. It's at the heart of my concerns about MAGA, and I know it's a question often asked by people across the political spectrum who remain horrified about what's happening. But clearly, his base (NOT everyone who voted for him, but his BASE), clearly believe America is in serious danger and he is the one person who can fix this.

Personally, while I have several general issue agreements with MAGA (see link at bottom here), I also believe (as do many across the political spectrum) that getting what I may want politically is not worth selling my soul to anyone (and that's what I think it is), let alone a person of such deeply poor moral character and obvious mental instability. I/we also strongly disagree with this simplistic, heavy, ham-handed approach, refusal to collaborate/innovate, and obvious indications of European-style autocratic authoritarianism. That's just my personal opinion.

Please vote/comment, and no attacks are on the way in response. Thanks in advance.

Where does Mac1958 actually stand on the issues?
Drop mic. The lies in a quick clip

When ever a person gets elected We try and give them an even break.
Yet like last time WE continue to have problems with those put up for power over us.
people like John Phelan, Art collector, head of investment firm, major donner.
Put up to run the NAVY. Has Zero military experience????? And that's a small one, compared to many others.
What's the deal???

Sorry if off poll, What about just answering my question post 509???????

I don't believe Trump supporters are all or even mostly "true malignant narcissists".

I believe many of them have adopted this behavior so thoroughly and unwittingly that the paradigm of malignant narcissism can be used to predict their behavior with great accuracy.

Also what happens is many people around them -- partners, co workers, family-- will modify their own behavior to account for the volatility and anger that comes with this mimicry of malignant narcissism.

The narcissist is VERY quick to believe any compliment or praise and just as quick to reject criticism and to retaliate over it. . So they often think their relationships are "perfect!", because people around them are telling them what they want to hear, in order to avoid conflict.
What is worse?

Dumb Fuck Socialist Demon Rats versus "malignant narcissists"? . BTW , malignant narcissim is not a medical diagnosis , it is simply a made up pejorative cliche.

To circle back to the thread topic:

Narcissists like Trump are abusive and basically require codependents to get on, in life.

The power such peope have over their codependents cannot be overstated. Much as the codependent of addicts often become addicts themselves, the supporters of Trump unwittingly adopt and internalize his behavior. It is either that, or rejection of that behavior. The latter is not an option, for a codependent.

And this is the one source of Trump's political power. The SOLE source.

The loaded construction of this question is very predictable behavior.

It never even occurs to you that you have to go so low and hyperbolic on the alternatives to Trump to justify Trump, himself. You have to paint a picture of the scum of the earth to give an example of something WORSE than Trump.

The above question was of course meant for your own eyes and ears, not mine.

It also doesn't occur to you how clear and obvious this behavior is to others.

Violent Parasites like Fort Fun Indiana are fully dependent on QueMala Chameleon and her ilk.

You can easily identify them because they are always singing "FEED ME SEYMOUR"

It's like I am paying them to make my points.

Thanks.

You can’t do that and you know it.

Actually , I didn't go low enough - some folks have concluded that people like you are cockroaches - people who love to destroy our country are a cancer.
