You don't even know what you said or what we're talking about here. Go back to sleep
Exhibit B

No need to read or even understand anything beyond the fact that it is criticism.

That alone is enough to trigger the cornered animal behavior.

I don't hate. That's for people like you.

And I've said multiple times that this isn't about politics for me. It's not about the issues. And it's not about Trump.

So you simply have no idea what you're talking about. I'm used to that here.
And now you retreat.
"It's not about this or that or anything".

Your whole diatribe OP was about how Trump sucks. Why pretend it isn't?

Figure out what you're talking about. Then get back to us.

Exhibit C

That's the only takeaway. As described and predicted.

Anyone who reads my posts in this thread knows why. And why it is so easy to predict.

In your opinion, sure. He's your savior, and you're very protective.
There you go again. He agrees with nearly all of your positions, according to you, yet you can't stop trashing him.

But I know, I know: This isn't about Trump. lol.

I think this is a little too complicated for you.

Trump loves you. Trump will take care of you.

There you go. You're welcome.
It's actually very simple. You hate Trump, but you can't really say why. I think it's because you've been told to hate him.

This "begging" behavior ^^ is also very predictable.

The opinions and reactions of others are VERY important, to a narcissist.

He can't walk away without the "payoff" of having annoyed or upset the person who slighted him or his hero.

This is how and why they are often abusive partners.

Everything is a fight, an attack, an assault.

He's made them as hypersenstive as he is.

100% correct. Because they have spent years defending that behavior more voraciously than even Trump has.

They have behaviorally modified themselves. A self-contained, behavioral conditioning experiment. It's fascinating.

While I may question Mac's insincerity, I don't call him a narcissist. Although I do agree these are a number of leftwingers who insist on getting the last word, and I agree that trait would be troublesome in a relationship.

I don't believe Trump supporters are all or even mostly "true malignant narcissists".

I believe many of them have adopted this behavior so thoroughly and unwittingly that the paradigm of malignant narcissism can be used to predict their behavior with great accuracy.

Also what happens is many people around them -- partners, co workers, family-- will modify their own behavior to account for the volatility and anger that comes with this mimicry of malignant narcissism.

The narcissist is VERY quick to believe any compliment or praise and just as quick to reject criticism and to retaliate over it. . So they often think their relationships are "perfect!", because people around them are telling them what they want to hear, in order to avoid conflict.

" (Trump's) deeply poor moral character and obvious mental instability. "
" I wonder why people thought I attacked Trump."

These people don't think about what they write, with all the obvious inconsistencies. They just ramble.

This is far beyond politics for them. It's a lifestyle, it's spiritual/religious.

Criticize him and you're personally attacking them.

That's how it destroys close relationships.

I agree with you that so many leftwingers are affected this way. But with the constant nine-year bombardment of hate memes from the mainstream media, it's inevitable many will hate Trump even though they agree with all his policies. And I bet if you asked Mac why he hates Trump or which position he disagrees with, he can't tell you. The same goes for you.

Yeah, whatever. I guess I'll go on loving life and being highly optimistic about the country as I enjoy the weekend with my family. You and FF can go on about how much you hate Trump. Have at it.

Mac1958 wanted to discuss Trumps CARICATURE, not his character.

“The true test of someone's character,” Elon Musk recently declared at a Donald Trump rally, “is how they behave under fire.”

Like your TDS isn't?
Perfect timing, thank you.

This is a perfect example of the workings of the mind of a narcissist.

The idea that people don't like Trump because of his words and behavior doesn't even exist in their minds. It can't. It is displaced by 100% certainty in the idea that people are criticizing Trump's words and behavior simply because they decided not to like him.

I.E., 100% the inverse of what is actually happening. But, to believe otherwise would legitimize criticism of Trump. And that cannot EVER happen.

So they have no choice. This results in very predictable behavior.
