The FBI said in court documents that it found a handgun, an assault rifle and hundreds of rounds of ammunition in Meredith’s trailer and text messages on his phone in which he talked about killing Pelosi and told a friend “headed to DC with a shit ton of 5.56 armor piercing ammo
You realize your sensational story wasn't in DC but outside of the city, proper?

This thread and poll is specifically about his character. I tried to make that clear. Thanks for your input.

It's about his 'character' because you can't legitimately argue against anything else, and have been assassinating his 'character' for years with lies. And when that didn't succeed you tried to assassinate the man himself. You have zero room to bring up anyone else's character on any subject, the collective 'character' of the left has been tainted with years of TDS lies, lawfare, and bullshit, no one believes you anymore. When you examine the 'character' of those you support just as thoroughly, maybe you'll finally be making progress, but we all know that will never happen. You've lost, deal with it.

She did not say that. She said she should have been more prepared
... for Trump's violent cult.

So yes, it is what she said.

takes responsibility for not having the NG there as requested by Trump and Capitol Police Chief Sund before J6.
She definitely did not say that.

And even if everything you say is true (it isn't), you're blaming Pelosi for the actions of the violent cult and its fat, rapist leader.

You probably blame the US for 9/11, too.

Because the person I voted for, Liz Cheney, didn't get enough votes.

That's the way it goes. I suspect I'll survive.
Why all the continuing hand wringing then.
So you couldn't stomach Harris and chose the next available loser.

This isn't about politics for me. This isn't about Trump for me. I'm not ideological.

If you didn't catch it the first hundred times I've said that, now you know.

Yet you started a thread based on what you just said.

Correct. I'd like to know how his voters reconcile their vote with his character, and I'd like to know where that tipping point is in today's society.

I'm asking a sociological question. I received the standard personal insults, vulgarity and deflection in return, which is also informative.

There is some truth to that

As a fence jockey Mac1958 wants to straddle every issue so that in the end if things go sour he can always say it wasnt his fault

As far as I can tell, they either deny his decades of criminal and unethical behavior entirely, or water it down beyond recognition.

Trump's character was revealed which he was shot he the head and jumped up and said "fight, fight, fight." His character is revealed when the media and the Left have done psy ops bullshit against him for 8 years, Lawfare, the Pee Tape, Russian Collusion, and all the other lies (and Mac & Cheese, you bought into all of them), and Trump is never defeated.

Do you have that kind of strength and character? Yeah, I didn't think so. Trump loves America and its people. He wants all Americans to be happy and successful. He is a patriot.

The fact you cannot see or acknowledge any of Trump's qualities speaks volumes about your innate biases and hatred. And yes, your character, or lack thereof.

Well, I specifically provided the option "the criticisms are lies" because they say it pretty much all the time. But they didn't like that. Some of them will say they don't like him personally.

I'd like to know where the tipping point is, where someone who would otherwise vote for a candidate says, "no, winning is just not worth this".

I think we've seen it's not easy to reach that point.

Many don't care for Trump the person, but voted for Him as a better alternative than what was being offered to run the country.

You are a liar. The day Trump left office there were 455,563 deaths.

Under Biden, as of September this year, there have been 746,619 deaths.

That means you think Biden’s policies are way worse tan Trump’s.

And 460,513 0f those were under Biden's watch in 2021 alone after he threw out all the Trump policies. And Biden had the benefit of a year's experience with COVID which Trump and EVERYBODY else had zero experience with a new, unknown virus and were flying completely blind in the early going with COVID.

DL and all the others who cite that Trump killed 'millions' with Fauci leading the medical team and policy, are so intellectually and factually dishonest I don't even know where to begin with that. Of course Fauci's policies were defended 100% by the leftist/Democrats once Biden was elected.

And since so many on the left are now trotting out that COVID lie about Trump deaths, it must be the new assigned talking point since they can't get any traction with Russia - Russia - Russia, sex stuff (which they all seem to be obsessed with), the racism card, or "Trump is a felon."

It was the 'woke' and other insane policies of the Biden/Harris administration that cost the Democrats dearly in the 2020 election pretty much across the board pretty much in all demographics. And I'm pretty sure it was the obvious blatant dishonesty of how they characterized Trump that was a large factor in putting him over the top. Overall, the American people--at least those who aren't 'woke'--are not idiots.

So going back to the OP, most of us who aren't 'woke' and aren't suffering from extreme TDS used Option 3. No Trump isn't a saint. He's not perfect. He is a sinner, he made mistakes, and he will make more mistakes as we ALL are and we ALL do. Sometimes he is irritating, annoying, obnoxious. We don't condone all that but it isn't a deal breaker because we also know he has our backs and will work for America and Americans in constructive ways as he did in his previous administration. He and his team we believe will do their best and are absolutely our best chance to fix what's broken and put the country in a good direction that is good for everybody.

He has four years. Will he get everything done in four years, no. Will he make progress on as many campaign promises as possible? Yes. He has that track record. Hopefully JD or another MAGA minded Republican will take over in 2029 and keep it going.

And if all us Patriots have his and his teams' backs, the left's dishonest hateful lies and accusations are like the Biblical discordant "noisy gong or clanging cymbal" but they have nothing, are nothing of value and won't be able to stop us. The MAGA vision is a strong, free, secure, prosperous America first with liberty, choices, options, opportunity for all.

That is why Trump won.

I imagine it's like leaving a religion. Ever watch any vids of exMormons, talking about how tough it was to leave?

What are the specific character attributes you admire about Joe Biden or Kamala Harris? Be specific and answer the question without referencing Trump.

Yeah, and part of this is also that we've literally moved into two different realities. They're willing to say he's not perfect, but when you list off specific characteristics and detail, they just summarily shun the whole thing.

We know there were some Republicans who said, "it's not worth winning if we have to be a part of this", and they clearly have a tipping point. They know they're wrecking their political careers and did it anyway. Like his former WH staff, attorneys, generals, cabinet members and Chief of Staff. Those are brave people.
