Get your attacks correct. We have the number 1 med schools, doctors, medical research facilities, drug research facilities, hospital, clinics, test labs etc. However, I would agree we don't have the best health INSURANCE system in the world.

Been to an urgent care center lately? Did a few years ago with a kidney stone. $1200 and several hours of tests to tell me what webmd did in just a couple minutes matching symptoms.

So why did you bother to go if you already knew what the problem was?

To get something for it beyond drinking lots of water. No avail though. Told me "drink lots of water." Did give me a 10 dose Rx for Percoset. My first experience with narcotics and gotta say, I can see how people get addicted so quickly.

Exactly right. The Constitution doesn't mention classical antiquity either. Nor Enlightenment rationalism and English common law. Yet these four traditions - Enlightenment thinking, common law, the classics, and Christianity - were the major traditions in America beginning 150 years before the Constitution was drafted. These traditions were the principle influences in the American society. They were present at the Philadelphia Convention.

This is why the Christian God, under various names, is acknowledged and revered in the Declaration of Independence.
