I'm interested in how 9/11 has changed the quality of 'heroism storytelling,' which is why I'm a big fan of civics-paranoia and vigilantism-daydream comic book adapted films such as Blankman, X-Men:Apocalypse, and The Punisher.
Who says the Taliban/ISIS can dictate the way Americans 'fantasize' about 'pedestrian confidence'?
At least we Americans live in a country where political tragedies do not yield forms of 'socialist censorship.'

Phoenix Wright, the self-proclaimed 'ace attorney' of the American grocery store (supermarket) was on the trail of a ruthless band of bandits known as the Red Triangle Gang. This crime syndicate was led by a bizarre but cunning druglord named Ivan who would order his goons (dressed in clown-costumes) to create a reign of terror in various supermarkets in cities and suburban neighbourhoods (across the USA), so he could say in the press, "America's lack of jurisprudence sanity revealed in these supermarket robberies suggests why the USA is falling behind in the delivery of satisfaction-goods such as marijuana and losing in the pedestrian-capitalism market to European cities such as Amsterdam!" Phoenix Wright knew Ivan was evil.
When Ivan ordered his clown-goons to hit a supermarket in NYC with flare-guns and tear-gas grenades and then cut off the pinky-finger of the store owner, his clown-goons reported the intention to the police (with a CB-call) before they went to the scene of the mission (an Acme supermarket). However, Phoenix Wright had purchased a special police-radio/CB interference-signal receiver and picked up on the Red Triangle's 'special notice to the police' before they arrived at the Acme supermarket. When the clown-goons arrived, Phoenix Wright was there waiting, and as soon as they entered through the front door with their 'equipment' (and machine-guns of course), Phoenix Wright knocked them all out with tranquilizer darts.
When the NYPD filed the police report of the 'pseudo-vigilante' deed of the mysterious stranger (Phoenix Wright), they took the accounts of the Acme witnesses who stated, "A daring fellow dressed in a bright-blue suit-and-tie came some time before the Red Triangle clowns arrived and knocked out the terrorists with tranquilizer darts and then placed white gloves on their hands (as a joke!)." The FBI were made aware of the incident, since it went to some modern domestic anxieties regarding urban terrorism on domestic soil. A special unit was assigned to find Phoenix Wright and determine if he really was a capitalism-advocate of America's supermarkets or if he was simply another 'suited philosopher.' Everything would be decided in the proverbial 'court of public opinion.'
