Anybody or anything. Such as a corporation."Individuals"? Just specifically individuals?
It's the other costs associated with laziness and obesity that are problematic. Besides having mental problems, many welfare recipients have an attitude problem that prevents them from doing the right things in their lives. They're a constant drag on the rest of society.I agree in principle that food stamp recipients should not be allowed to buy random junk food with it.
I also don’t really think it’s that big of a deal one way or the other.
It’s certainly not worthy of the multiple threads on the subject
You guys really hyper-fixate on minor trigger-issues sometimes
Poor fellow, u want us to buy your m&ms huh?The sick fvcks get off on it...even though they are more likely to be poor than other demographics.
As I've always said...MAGA is about sticking it to someone--anyone. It's a sickness.
I once dated a woman who was on welfare and also worked. She changed my mind (briefly) about welfare recipients. She had three kids to raise by herself. The kids were well cared for, polite, her apartment was neat and clean. For her and those like her it was money well spent. Many on SNAP are employed.
I started my career working the grocery business. Was born into it, Dad was upper level management at a major chain. In fact, at one time, the leading employer in Western North Carolina.I agree, spending a million dollars on an expensive missile that misses its target most of the time is a far greater waste of money that providing nutrition to poor kids.
The reality of Food Stamps is that they are corporate welfare for the agricultural industry, and always have been. That's why they are distributed through the Department of Agriculture.
I agree and that is the intention of welfare.I once dated a woman who was on welfare and also worked. She changed my mind (briefly) about welfare recipients. She had three kids to raise by herself. The kids were well cared for, polite, her apartment was neat and clean. For her and those like her it was money well spent.
Unconstitutionally.
Next?

Link to me saying I vote for that? I say you are a liar and won't find it.But you vote for that and get upset when I support the poor.
Link to me saying I vote for that? I say you are a liar and won't find it.
And also link to me being upset if you support the poor, Dumbass. You won't find that either. Support them all you want, WTF do I care?
You problem is you think taking from someone else to buy shit for the poor is you 'supporting them".
The operative words are nutrition for poor kids. The new rule mandates nutrition for poor kids.I agree, spending a million dollars on an expensive missile that mnutisses its target most of the time is a far greater waste of money that providing nutrition to poor kids.

Sadly, not enough like her.Well, as long as you approve........
There are millions just like her.
Parents will still feed their kids sugary cereals, even if they have to pay for it themselves. I was raised on sugary cereal...oatmeal, with milk and sugar. The operative words are nutrition for poor kids. The new rule mandates nutrition for poor kids.
Sadly, not enough like her.
