1 liter of gas costed $10 in Germany when I was living there. Nobody could afford to drive to work. They wanted everyone taking mass-transit. Most Germans don't even have a driver's license. Problem with that belief here is the fact that most America cities don't have a decent mass-transit system in place.

The reality of Food Stamps is that they are corporate welfare for the agricultural industry, and always have been. That's why they are distributed through the Department of Agriculture.
