Gee, I don't ever recall the Pentagon ever issuing such a letter to any president before! This amounts to the Deep State protecting itself. This is total horseshit that you can't fire a federal employee even if you find them unnecessary, unsatisfactory, or undesirable. In effect, what the DOD is saying is: "We are here like a weed and you can't dislodge us." Trying to clean up the DOD amounts to an unlawful act. Bullshit. As with using the military to clean up our streets of roving foreign gangs and illegals--- we have been INVADED, Joe Biden did this, Biden and Harris are responsible--- get these people out of the country by any means necessary but GET IT DONE.

I see Trump firing people left and right, and Trump knows how to run an effective business and knows how to fire people.

It is especially bad if Trump slaps the desk when he fires you.

The first thing Trump should do is court martial Milley.

Milley should be in a federal prison along with the worst criminals.

Then he can fire any flag officer involved in woke nonsense for a lack of confidence in their leadership. After that, he can fire any flag officer unwilling to follow lawful orders to secure the nation's borders.

Bust ass until you clean up these agencies. Obviously, this is the mandate of the American people and not doing so sooner has lead to the state of affairs today. I know the Fed and it is all a rich, spoiled, privileged class of protected elitist snobs who think the nation revolves around THEM-- time for an attitude adjustment to remind them who is really in charge.
