An individual does not get subjected to a trial. If you are charged with a crime, you are not subjected to a trial. You have the right to demand a trial. That is real life.
Courts martial are convened to conduct legal matters under military law, just like civilian courts are convened to conduct legal matters under civilian law. To use "court martial" as a verb makes no more sense than to use "court" (in the legal sense) as a verb for a civilian. Does a police officer "court" you when charging you with a crime? No. Only morons who don't know what they're talking about would said either.
