Zone1 Pastor: They’re Not Deceived – Trump Evangelicals Are CHOOSING the Lies

Government jobs and illegal jobs new jobs are private jobs. CPI is low inflation is slowing wages are up. You must live in a democrat state
Apart from the DOGE effect rehiring old jobs, health care makes up the majority of the new jobs. Not exactly a manufacturing boom, gdp which you were crowing about is 1.4% for Q4, afaik.

But, you know, keep Norman Vincent Pealing...

With open borders, did you ever hear of the sex trafficking (both adults and children) that went on? How about the fraud, the census manipulations in the name of power, the rapes and murders of American citizens, gangs, how everything from medical care to education to disruption and destruction to cities have been the result. It's like you are sitting up in an ivory tower away from all the day-to-day problems caused by illegal immigration/open borders. It's like you are thrilled to see Americans turn against Americans, causing even more chaos.

And why? All because of a fight for power that is ongoing in our nation's Capitol. Democrats fight to have illegals enter the country, be placed in areas to turn red to blue. Republicans fighting to remove these illegals to turn the blue back to red. And there you are trying to turn it into a moral issue, because above all else morality matters in this particular issue, right? Just like morality matters in the abortion issue? Let's speak of the morality of breaking the law to get what an individual wants. The infighting political war for power (Red vs Blue); destructive riots, abortion, "education", etc. This country is far from moral about anything--yet you set yourself up as judge over those who are against human trafficking, etc. as being less moral than those who want to free criminals who also happen to be here illegally. It's a war for political power, and every single citizen is more or less on the sidelines watching it play out.
Your bishops aren't impressed.

Did you hear about families suffering in third world countries?
Starvation, disease, gang violence.

The vast majority of those migrants you despise come for a better life.
They come here for a better life, security a chance to succeed.
They work hard at jobs Americans won’t do.

REAL Christians understand
Țhe Pope does

You have to follow our laws and enter legally. Why is that hard to understand? None of the ICE activity would be going on right now had Democrats enforced our immigration laws instead of not only allowing, but inviting and transporting illegals here. Until I hear denunciation of Democrats for that, I won't listen to criticism of Trump who is simply enforcing our immigration laws.

One of the most disturbing and difficult-to-understand things about this whole period -- perhaps THE most disturbing and difficult-to-understand thing -- for many of us across the political spectrum, Left to Right, is the way evangelicals have supported this vulgar, dishonest, divisive, cruel, awful man. How can they do this, how can they justify this? The Christians in my family who are horrified by what they're seeing are still wrestling with this question.

This is a retired pastor who, in his characteristically calm and civil way, tries to help us understand what is happening here. He doesn't think these people are "stupid". He has a very interesting take, and for those who are interested in this important question, you might find it to be an interesting use of 20 minutes.

Oh a pastor that agrees with you, it must be true! You are a clown macdaddy.

Maybe you should check with the Pope.

Insisting that the dignity of all people, including immigrants, must be respected, Pope Leo XIV asked U.S. Catholics and "people of goodwill" to read and listen to the U.S. bishops' recent pastoral message on the topic.

"When people are living good lives -- and many of them (in the United States) for 10, 15, 20 years -- to treat them in a way that is extremely disrespectful, to say the least," is not acceptable, the pope said Nov. 18.

Meeting reporters outside his villa in Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo was asked what he thought of the "special pastoral message on immigration" approved overwhelmingly by members of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Nov. 12.

I kind of liked when politics were still civil.
Libs can return to civility anytime they choose

NICE DEFLECTION

Has nothing to do with Trump setting a mob on his Vice President

Pence performed his job as Vice President
Trump failed in his role as President

Hang Mike Pence

Has to do with your and the lefts hypocrisy.

Did he? Did you vote for Pence? Since he was a good Christian and all?

No, Trump didn't fail. The political weaponized Justice system of the left prevailed.

Why do you want to hang Mike Pence? I thought he was your man.

Don't change the subject. I'm talking about the political manipulation that uses the weak for their own purposes. There are those of us who actually help families who are suffering in third world countries--all without having any other motive than to make life easier for them.

You next change of subject: You make it seem like it is I who despise migrants after I clearly stated it is the political machinery and its grasp for power (both sides) that I despise. See how you, yourself, are indulging in the manipulation I so despise? Illegal immigrants are being used as pawns in this horrific tug of war. Reminds me of King Solomon's solution to two women who claimed the same baby.

Those of us who are helping illegal immigrants are those who help with housing, clothing, medical care, education--and how to start them on the way of becoming legal citizens. You are not going to find us in the streets of Minneapolis and the chaos there. It's not a political issue for us, it's a human issue, one individual (or family) at a time.

Third: You mean the job you won't do. Many American citizens do those jobs (along with non-citizens) that you won't do. Why not join in?

Real Christians are in the trenches. When the Pope opens up Vatican City to all the criminal illegals here in America--invites America to send all these to Vatican City--I'll take note. I haven't see him doing that...yet.

Duh most illegals are Catholics

What a lame comparison and how unchristian of you.

Hell with the poor and the suffering as long as Trump says so

President Trump has nothing to do with how I live my life as a Christian. Neither did President Biden nor any other President or government official. My life as a Christian doesn't change with each Presidency. I find it puzzling that the Presidency seems to change the lives of you and others when it comes to caring for those in need.

I find it puzzling how you label those who come to our country to feed their families as drug and human traffickers

As I never said--nor implied--that, no wonder you are puzzled. I am addressing the underlying issues in political warfare and the consequences of that. The Democrats get the population they want in the places they want it, by crying crocodile tears and tugging on heart-strings. Their motto--start the lemmings running by any means.

I forget who first said it, but the two parties were summed up with: Democrats are evil and Republicans are stupid. Choose your poison.

Compassion for those who are suffering is not political
It is humanity.

Go ahead and support Trump policies on terminating USAID, WHO, medical care for the poor and compassionate treatment of migrants legal or not.

Most handouts only prolong the misery that afflicts welfare bums

Yet Democrats are not practicing that for our president. USAID is not for our citizens. Trump has not harmed the poor; he has caused drug prices to fall which primarily helps the poor.

Those you salute, we too salute. Those who came here legally.

Once again: You haven't a clue as to whether I support President Trump's policies or not. They have nothing to do with what I am doing or what I am speaking of. You seem to think a Christian is defined by whether or not they support the current President, no matter who that might be. As I've told you time and again--any President has nothing to do with my support of illegal aliens--or anyone else in need--whether or not their current residence is in the United States--or even the Western hemisphere. Anyone who centers their life around a ruler lives an extremely narrow life. I refuse to live like that, but you have fun with your way--if you can. It sounds like the way of misery to me.
