Zone1 Pastor: They’re Not Deceived – Trump Evangelicals Are CHOOSING the Lies

"Christian values" come from the heart of a believer. Not from the political pen of an activist. I can be charitable to people in need and give when I can afford to. It's not up to a politician to MANDATE that I give when I can't afford to. And it's not "Christian" of a person from another country to invade a neighboring country and steal the fruits of someone else's labor.

Should I be permitted to invade Mexico illegally and expect the Mexican taxpayers to pay for my wants and needs?
As a Christian you can VOTE to support policies that support the needy
Jesus was a migrant

Apart from the DOGE effect rehiring old jobs, health care makes up the majority of the new jobs. Not exactly a manufacturing boom, gdp which you were crowing about is 1.4% for Q4, afaik.

But, you know, keep Norman Vincent Pealing...
Democrats shut down the government dropping GDP. All new jobs are private sector jobs real jobs not government jobs

The retired Bishop of the Pittsburgh diocese was asked why the church wasn`t supporting the fake anti-abortion candidate, the convicted felon, Donald Trump. Reverend David Zubik said the Catholic church wasn`t a single issue religion and Catholics should look at whole candidate.
Trumps haters don't realize this, but as soon as they say the words "convicted felon", they have destroyed anything that they are about to say. Most readers dismiss you right at that point, and don't bother reading any further.

If you are so DUPED to believe all the rigged political theaters, that Democrats futilely made fools of themselves with, nobody is going to heed a word you have to say.

Jesus was a migrant
In Jesus' day (as well as the early founding of America) there were no laws against migration. Now there are. And in the time of Jesus, there weren't millions of people migrating into lands where they could take advantage of welfare programs.

Nothing wrong with being a migrant, IF you are arriving with small numbers (not caravans), IF you are open minded (not all one political party), IF you are bringing something of value (as Jesus did), and not just looking for what the country can do for you (as Kennedy said).

The willful ignorance of the left is sometimes baffling.

Trump built a policy platform that appealed to working class and middle class Americans.

They want their "tribe" to be "culturally dominate". Why should it not be?

And "resentment"? Trump actually DIDN'T use that very much, though lord knows we have plenty of Just Cause to be resentful about.
Agree to some extent. Tribalism at their own expense. That's why i feel zero empathy for the working class bending over backwards to give people like me big tax cuts. Its like watching a drug addict that you've tried to help but they self destruct. Sometimes you just cant help people.

With open borders, did you ever hear of the sex trafficking (both adults and children) that went on? How about the fraud, the census manipulations in the name of power, the rapes and murders of American citizens, gangs, how everything from medical care to education to disruption and destruction to cities have been the result. It's like you are sitting up in an ivory tower away from all the day-to-day problems caused by illegal immigration/open borders. It's like you are thrilled to see Americans turn against Americans, causing even more chaos.

Oh, get real. Most undocumented immigrants aren't rapists, murderers, or human traffickers. They are maids and farm workers and day laborers, trying to get by and take care of their families just like you are.

If you want to punish a whole groups for what a few bad apples did, we can start with the Catholics. Hey, your priests were engaged in kiddie-diddling, let's take it out on the whole congregation. I mean, why not, if you want to condemn whole groups for what some of the worst ones did.

The only "problem" caused by illegal immigration is our thirst for manual labor vs. our fear of not-white people. In short, we are balancing our greed against our racism. Not a good look.

And why? All because of a fight for power that is ongoing in our nation's Capitol. Democrats fight to have illegals enter the country, be placed in areas to turn red to blue. Republicans fighting to remove these illegals to turn the blue back to red. And there you are trying to turn it into a moral issue, because above all else morality matters in this particular issue, right? Just like morality matters in the abortion issue? Let's speak of the morality of breaking the law to get what an individual wants. The infighting political war for power (Red vs Blue); destructive riots, abortion, "education", etc. This country is far from moral about anything--yet you set yourself up as judge over those who are against human trafficking, etc. as being less moral than those who want to free criminals who also happen to be here illegally. It's a war for political power, and every single citizen is more or less on the sidelines watching it play out.

Um, it is a moral issue. Trump is violating the human and civil rights of immigrants (not just the undocumented ones) in order to appeal to racists.

ONe of my very dear friends is from the Philippines. Even though she is a US citizen, she feels she needs to carry copies of her naturalization papers and passport to prove her residency.

The ironic thing is, the immigrants you people are going after probably would have become a conservative consituency. They are more religious and traditional than your average American. But you've alienated them and now live in fear for the day when most of them will become citizens. (Because Trump isn't getting anywhere close to deporting them all.)

Most migrants work and work hard
They come to feed their families in search of a better life

Trump hunts them down like dogs

And while they work & work hard, they TAKE JOBS AWAY FROM AMERICANS who also work & work hard. As well as all THESE THINGS >>>

HARMS of Illegal Immigration
1. Americans lose jobs. (especially Whites due to affirmative action).
2. Wage reduction.
3. Tax $$$ Lost (due to off books work + lower wages paid).
4. Remittance $$$ lost. ($200+ Billion/year).
5. Tax $$ lost to immigrants on welfare.
6. Increased crime.
7. Increased traffic congestion.
8. Increased pollution.
9. Overcrowding in hospital ERs.
10. Overcrowding in recreational facilities.
11. Overcrowding in government offices.
12. Overcrowding in schools.
13. Decrease in funds available for entitlements.
14. Cultural erosion.
15. Overuse of scarce resources (oil, gasoline, fresh water, jobs, electricity, food, etc)
16. Introduction of foreign diseases
17. Influx of terrorists.
18. Wildfires
19. Litter
20. Housing congestion (loss of available housing)
21. Massive housing inflation (200%) from market saturation

Except Americans don't want to do those jobs.

And, yes, a lot of them are paying taxes, either through sales taxes or payroll taxes on fake IDs.

Increased crime.

Immigrants commit fewer crimes than people who are born here.

Increased traffic congestion.
8. Increased pollution.

Wait, hold on now, you guys want to slash environmental protection and infrastructure spending, and then complain about traffic and pollution?

9. Overcrowding in hospital ERs.
10. Overcrowding in recreational facilities.
11. Overcrowding in government offices.
12. Overcrowding in schools.

Adequately fund those services and stop giving tax cuts to billionaires. Problem solved.

13. Decrease in funds available for entitlements.
Actually, quite the contrary, we need immigrants to prop up the entitlements because white folks aren't reproducing at replacement rates.

14. Cultural erosion.
15. Overuse of scarce resources (oil, gasoline, fresh water, jobs, electricity, food, etc)

17. Influx of terrorists.
Really? Because it seems to me that every "Terrorist" we have had has either been home grown or came here on a legal visa. You guys have been ranting about the "illegal terrorists leaving prayer rugs in the desert" for 25 years now.

But... not one act of terror committed in the US by an illegal immigrant. Imagine that.

20. Housing congestion (loss of available housing)
21. Massive housing inflation (200%) from market saturation

Immigrants are the ones building those houses because White Americans would rather work in an office than the trades.

Oh, get real.
Reality is everything that happens with open borders and those who choose to illegally gain entrance. All of you who are so politically motivated need to motivate your legislatures to update/speed up the legal process. And...if you stay out of the way of those who are working to get criminals deported it would better pave the way to more speedily process and welcome new citizens.
Are you in favor of a nation of laws or do you favor lawlessness? Do you favor everyone following only the laws they agree with--everyone making up his/her own laws?

More lies to cover for Trumps inhumanity and cruelty
Recent reports and congressional testimonies, particularly in early 2025, have raised serious allegations that U.S. taxpayer money, distributed through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has been inadvertently or directly used to support terrorist organizations. Investigations, including those by the Middle East Forum (MEF) and findings from the House Oversight Subcommittee, have accused USAID of having lax vetting mechanisms, which allowed funding to reach organizations linked to groups like Hamas in Gaza, as well as terrorist groups in Syria and Afghanistan.

Key Findings and Allegations (2024-2025):
  • Funding in Gaza: A study identified $164 million in USAID grants to organizations, with $122 million going to those "aligned with designated terrorists and their supporters," particularly in Hamas-controlled Gaza.
  • Diverted Aid in Syria: A Syrian national was charged with diverting $9 million in USAID-funded humanitarian assistance to a terror group affiliated with Al-Qaida.
  • Vetting Failures: Concerns have been raised by the USAID Inspector General and watchdogs regarding "lax vetting mechanisms". Reports indicated that in some instances, standard screening procedures were bypassed to expedite emergency aid, resulting in funds reaching Hamas-controlled areas.
  • Taliban Connections: Allegations have been made that aid intended for the Afghan people was diverted to the Taliban.
  • Investigation and Oversight: The House Oversight Subcommittee on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is investigating these claims, with witnesses alleging that millions in aid have fueled terrorism and that the agency has not provided sufficient oversight.

Again you repeat Trumps lies that he is just going after CRIMINALS when his tactics sweep up anyone who does not look right or speaks a different language.

Round them all up and you might find a few criminals

I'm in favor of sensible laws.

I am currently in the process of sponsoring my wife for residency.

So far, I've had to submit 300 pages of documentation AND pay $4000.00 in legal fees and government costs.

For someone who should have been granted political asylum a decade ago.

They aren't deporting "Criminals".

They are deporting maids and day laborers and farm workers.

They should be hunted down however is needed, to round them up and get rid of them. In 1954, with Operation *******, INS agents went house to house , door to door, hunting down illegal aliens and arresting them.

Thousands were shipped to south Mexico shores from Vera Cruz to Campeche. As an 8 yr old kid living in Villahermosa, Tabasco, I watched the ships arrive, with binoculars. Women & children came ashore in small boats. Men were dumped into the shallow water and waded ashore.

The Mexican govt protested furiously. Eisenhower paid no attention to them at all.

There is no evidence that USAID as an agency is corrupt or deliberately aiding terrorists.

There have been documented cases of fraud or diversion in high-risk regions, which is unfortunately common in global aid work — and those cases are investigated when found.
