With the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the nomination of a polar opposite replacement, only one response that makes any sense: Expand the Supreme Court. The only real question is by how much. There are other responses that can do some good — perhaps even more good. But without court expansion, the existing court can, and almost certainly will, strike them down.

Yes, some call it an extreme step. But there’s a more extreme step: Simply ignore the court’s decisions — as some Republicans argued in the 1850s, in response to the Dred Scott decision. More to the point, this is an extreme situation that demands extreme responses. As Boston College law professor Kent Greenfield tweeted on Sept. 21:

The pipe dream of a Christian theocracy, with unfettered capitalism, is about to run up on a snag.

Go home Carl, it won't happen.

As much as your dream of a Communist America. Neither is desirable here, and neither will be permitted.

You no longer need to ask leftist whether they harbor extremist views. They spew the views right onto your face without even asking.

Well thanks for making it clear, you should kneel to BLM and pray for the dream that is Antifa with Joe. #DefundThePolice

I really wonder what people like Mac1958 think of posts like the OP. It seems to be an impossible task to find one moderate Biden voter, yet Trump who has condemned all extremists is the supposed extremist?

Biden can't say no to packing the court, has agreed to defunding the police, thinks Antifa is a dream and kneels with BLM. And this guy is the one that's supposed to have the moderates sold? That is a damn joke.

Why would anyone care if a few judges are added?

More is better
November 4th is coming for you fascists, its not gonna end well for you... :flameth:

Make sure you go out to vote on November 4th
Did you think yourself clever, you hate filled democrats plan on voting throughout the entire month of November, however come the 4th you will realize folly of your collective actions, there will be no "truth & reconciliation" trials, just as there will be no president Biden, there will be war though, it is not gonna go well for you....

OP, the point of SCOTUS is to protect the constitution, not subvert the legislative process. There are plenty of socialist nations you can move to.

Very true

More judges to protect the Constitution

Packing the court is nothing but a declaration of civil war right then and there. It will be a one party state at that point, and there is no way that Americans will ever accept that kind of China style solution.

If republicans would ever win they would then again pack the court, which means democrats would never allow it to happen. This is exactly what separation of powers is supposed to prevent. However, the democrats are so extreme that they are willing to do anything for power at this point. Unfortunately, violent means seem to be the only ones that will finally stop their lust for power.

Thankfully, Americans are sane enough to put a stop to these idiots at the voting booths.

A true Socialist would tally up the rec and distribute them equally between ALL of his/her employees....that's not what Carl does.

Sure blow up the Supreme Court to insure perpetual Democratic rule of the country. One Party shall rule them all. That's what America is all about, right Skew?

Well, you keep hope alive. The numbers don't seem to back that statement up at the moment. But, ya never know.
Conservatives have been trying to ideologically stack the court for decades. And if we're being honest, it's got nothing
to do with adherence to the Constitution. It's about imposing a set of religious beliefs and limiting the power of the majority
in favor of the just minority.

I'm kinda hoping they defund the police. They'll be no one to come and arrest me when one of these BLM/ANTIFA lawless degenerates gets in my face and I'm forced to give them lead poisoning.

Leftists your ideas are so bankrupt and hated by Americans you must use the court system to shove them down our throats. It's been happening for 50 years.

I can say the same thing about rightists using legislation and the courts. I saw it happen right here in my own town in the mid 90's. A minority uses the court and legislation to impose its will on the majority.
