Deion beats cancer, football world rejoices

Good for Sanders.

I had a friend/co-worker who was going through his fourth round of six weeks of treatment in four years for the same, bladder cancer. It's a tough one.

Unfortunately, he dropped dead of a stroke at the office three weeks ago today, the day before what would have been his last treatment this round.

I read somewhere that they had "rebuilt" a bladder for Sanders using a portion of his small intestine... the things they can do...

Now, if only his team could win a game.

Deion's ability to recruit depends on the perception of him STAYING THERE. Now that he's healthy, if he wanted to plant roots there and be the long term coach, he needs to "document" that, and then he'll start winning in the portal and recruiting.

Big 12 took a big hit in football when Texas and OU left. They are clearly perceived now as "behind" Big 10, SEC and ACC in football, and the number of players drafted from Big 12 "validates" it.
