OWS Wants the End of Capitalism?

That is a fantastic video but I don't know why my libertarian intelligent brothers are doing down there with the loser shits....

BTW, I posted that video here 3 days ago..

Don't even attempt to compare the animals down there with my libertarian brothers and sisters ...

90% of those fucks are progressive socialists - intelligent kids like that in the video are rare in that collective group...

That kid is smart as hell and is a leader, not to mention towards the end you can hear the progressive socialists yap and mock what he is saying...

Finance capitalism ........unholy alliance of financial power and political power

Interesting.

You recognize that there is an UNHOLY ALLIANCE OF FINANCIAL AND POLITICAL POWERS yet you refer to it as "capitalism".

I remind you, again, that in a capitalistic system there are no UNHOLY ALLIANCES OF FINANCIAL AND POLITICAL POWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.
Are you telling me the richest 1% of capitalists in this country have no more influence over the political actions of elected Republicans AND Democrats than you and I?

To the OP thread title - yes.
This is probably the only common theme that the OWS seem to share in common - or enough of them do that it would make the majority of them.

So...yes they do.

Yeah right--

OWS Wants the End of Capitalism? Nope. The OWS movement seems to want to level the playing field. Of course specific goals for specific individuals protesting cannot be determined. I support OWS because the playing field is not level, banks, insurance companies and the entire financial services industry constantly run downhill, while the rest of us run uphill.

The reason is they influence The Congress and laws are written to protect their interests. Such laws, written by the ubiquitous law firm Dewey, Cheatum and Howe can and do favor the rich over the other 99% of Americans.

Greed is an excessive desire to possess wealth, status, or power. One can work to achieve success in business without being greedy. The assumption that greed is a necessary component in achieving success is just not true. A willingness to work hard in pursue of one's dreams is not greed. However, when those pursuits violate the law and commonly accepted codes of moral behavior that is greed and it's destructive to the individual, society, and often the business. The philosophy, "Greed is Good" makes for good movies but not good business.

Any who follows Ayn Rand and libertarianism is a simply weak mind emotionally and morally.

I know.

I should be at Zucotti Park supporting Karl Marx and the OWS instead.

.

I suspect there are a few dozen supporters of Karl Marx at OWS and O__S demonstrations around the county and the world.

The irony is the greed and callous disregard for the working people by the power elite and their surrogates in State Houses and in the Congress are the greatest recruiters for the far left. A fair and honest shake is what most of the protesters want. If the New Right continues its attack on the working class the movement will grow and the ideas of Marx and others who so scare the wealthy will grow and grow.

Paying a fair share, a term mocked by conservatives, is really the best protection the power eilit have. Their gated communities and private police force are not the safe haven they believe, if history is to be our guide.
