Some of those things were good ideas, but not proof that we should be 100% solar, just proof that you can always find ways of /improving/ a technology to make it better.

But build stuff like that in THIS country? With all of the environmental regulations cast by states like California that China doesn't need to deal with? Or get passed by our congress where democrats block every effort that we can't even get a CR passed from the bums much less than fund necessary daily government functions like TSA and the Coast Guard?
