Big news to share! Undoubtedly, growing up in Nashville, the Opry has forever been a stronghold of timeless country music tradition. But even beyond the borders of music city, the Opry is the beacon of a dream, and apart from being a representation of any success or fame, it is more importantly a symbol of inclusion in the country music genre. We are incredibly honored to be included in the lineup this July and I mean to do my hometown of Nashville proud.

It’s funny how territorial people have always been. Folks spend a lot of time and energy on dividing up what’s theirs, what they will take, and what they refuse to give up. This is a natural tendency we all have I believe, to own something, to have property, to create a legacy.
It seems that regardless of your creed, religion, politics, everyone shares this mentality of, don’t touch that - it’s mine, which I find more and more comical considering how little ownership folks have about anything past their property lines these days.
Property Line is written about my girlfriend's folks down in Alabama, who have land and occasionally have to chase trespassers off. In this song I tried to get in the head of my girlfriend’s dad who is a down home, all his life, born and raised Alabama farmer type, who loves driving on his land endlessly and spends every waking moment cultivating and protecting that land.
