The list of Conservative SC candidates is a brilliant move by the Trump campaign because it puts the focus squarely on what is at stake in this election. You elect Hillary and we will have a Liberal rubber stamp Supreme Court for the next 20 years. Couple that with a Judicial branch that is owned by Liberals and media that is dominated by Liberals and you set the table for decades unrestrained government intrusion into every facet of your life.

Sure. I was a Cruz supporter as well but Ted is not running and now I have to deal with what the new reality is. To me, the SCOTUS pick is the #1issue and his list is solid.

His SCOTUS picks are certainly a step in the right direction. But is this him pandering to Conservatives or does he really mean it? Will he actually fight for his selected nominee or will he "negotiate" and end up picking someone not on this list? Whomever is nominated has to be approved by Congress and there are a LOT of liberals in Congress.

Trump worries me because he likes to be liked. So once he is elected, it's too late to change anything... he is going to govern as he pleases and that will likely be in a way that he will be liked by Congress. I don't really want my president to be liked by Congress... I want him to be a major pain in Congresses ass.
