Cutting SNAP benefits is being done by people who profess to believing in not only a Supreme Being, but specifically in the God of frankie graham and pound their bibles all over the place. Their prostituted religion allows them to spread evil.

Let 'em get a J-O-B.

Most of them have J-O-B-S. And they don't make enough to make ends meet without those programs. But their employers are getting lots and lots of corporate welfare.

Well perhaps they should get a better J-O-B.

If they have a drivers license there are trucking companies that will pay for their CDL school and guarantee them a $40,000 a year job on the back end. With annual raises.

There are jobs out there, but nobody wants to work.

Here in Texas the oil and gas fields are crying for drivers who can pass a drug test. I hear it's the same in other oil and gas producing states.

Oh yes. I was offered a job not long ago in Texas hauling frak sand. Not interested in that kind of work but if its either that or door greeter at wal mart on food stamps, put me in the cab of the truck and give me a trailer.

6.2 million people off food stamps in a little over two years is nothing short of a miracle, especially considering that Obama was labeled as the food stamp presidency, due to record number of people on food stamps. Just imagine all the people that went back to work, and the reduction of the size of the govt payroll from all the useless govt jobs that were eliminated.

This is yet another example the fake news media not giving credit where credit is due.

How long did the Democrat caused crash of 2008 last, that caused a total of 2.5 million jobs lost in in 2008? It wasn't the entire eight years of the Obama administration that 700,000 jobs a month were lost, that's for sure. Bush Jr. came in right after the collapse of the 1999 tech bubble , he never complained, just said these are the cards we were dealt with, so were going to roll up our sleeves and handle it. On the other hand, Obama kept using the 2008 crash as an excuse for his failed presidency. In fact he kept whining and blaming Bush for every single one of his failures. That is, until the Bushes turned into never Trumpers, then the Left fell in love with the Bush family. Just like McCain, he was a racist neocon when he ran, but now he's one of the Left's heroes.

On the bright side, if it weren't for Obama being such a massive failure, Trump would not have become president, perhaps not even run for it.

Republicans had basically ran Congress from 1995 through 2006. A Republican President for 7 years.

Not only in my community, but across the country, as I'm a truck driver, and see many communities....As for commercial space, that is always fluctuating, the fact is my observation was involving small business, and that is making a comeback under Trump...

You tried to use a false metric that wasn't included in my statement to deflect. One that I'm unsure supports your view...So, my suggestion stands...the economy is healthy under Trump, and if i were you, I'd find something different to run against him on, as we know from past elections, the President running for re election on a good economy, wins.

A lot of businesses did not survive the Bush recession.

Under Obama, things improved & continue to improve underf Trump.

But be easry of the economic numbers today. It is well established that a tax cut can spur the economy....in the short term. Trump borrowed 1.5 trillion for his tax cut. A lot of that money went to wealthy people & well off corporations.
