You might also add how people in northern Europe are being affected by currents in the SOUTH Atlantic.

The first part is understanding what is climate and what is weather. Climate is the parameters of Earth that allow certain ranges of weather. We don't get Cat 10 canes now, but we would if Earth had no ice.

What are the parameters of climate that can change?

Ocean levels
Atmospheric thickness
Temperature
Humidity


What controls those?

The amount of ice on the planet. Period. Ocean level is 100% inversely correlated to Earth ice content (on land, not sea ice, which is pathetically small) - duh. Trapped in ice age glacier is compressed gas. When it snows 10 feet, you can compress...

What this said is simply that the change in currents has been raising the salinity of the ocean surface, reducing the effect of the melt of the Antarctic ice in expanding that ice. When the weather is different for most of the seasons, then that is climate change. The mountains of my childhood have snows later and melt far sooner than when I was a child. Those are the Blue Mountains and the Cascades. Less snow, also.

The atmosphere is far from 100% carbon dioxide ... so the oceans will not be saturated with CO2 gas ... the ocean is in equilibrium with atmospheric carbon's 425 ppm ... no where close to saturation ... like dropping a single sugar crystal into a glass of water ... the water won't be sweet ...

If you believe the liars in commercial media, then you be reciting lies here ... you're better than that ...

Red Flag warnings is common in the NW as they occur every year as weather conditions have always reached the level that generated warnings.

There is no trend in floods or droughts in the US. which I have FACTUALLY posted several times but your mental dishonesty prevents you from accepting them.

If you have ever rolled a canoe, you have an example of a tipping point. Where the change is to a different state. Much harder to right a climatic tipping point than a canoe. For instance when a previously forest that was a sink for CO2 becomes an emitter. Same for permafrost. However one of the kickers of tipping points is that many will, or have already happened, without visible effects until a few years down the road. But it does not matter, it is only your children that will have to deal with that, so WTF.

Science uses observation to prove claims or theories. They did not observe any deaths. They merely claimed there would be more and then also attributed those “excess deaths” which never happened to climate change with zero details on any deaths.
