I saw the video and Obama was merely suggesting that successful economies are Market based but elements of Communism and Socialism are necessary tenants of Capitalism for protection of the ordinary citizen's health and welfare.

Once again you are off target. Within the first minute, he mentions communism. You might be correct had you said, he didn't mention Marxism, but he certainly mentioned communism. Then again I just might not have heard the word.

Whom is he giving this lecture, other than an obviously bored room full of young white kids?

What is even his point? It is stupid what he said and clearly shows his disdain for what made America great. After all of his speech, in the end, he calls, I assume he is talking about America, the economy a "market system." What does that mean? It sure seems to me to mean he just can't pull the trigger on admitting that capitalism works. Although he raved about how it would help Cuba.

Maybe if you actually listened to the video or read links your responses wouldn't seem so partisan.

That is a trait of someone not telling the truth, or at least, telling us something that they know isn't right. That was the scenario after this latest act of Muslim brutality. Who did they go after, they went after Americans saying they were scared of ISIS because of what happened in Belgium. I know of no one who is scared. Concerned that the animals might come here, absolutely, scared no.

So he was just trying to turn the subject from the animals who do such things to those who suffer because of those animals.
