I lived in Las Cruces about sixty years ago and absolutely loved it. Many times considered returning in my retirement, but seeing numbers like this made me curious. I just looked and their rated a one with 100 being the safest. They are safer than 1% of the cities in the country. WOW, how the place has slid.

NM has been FUBAR for a very long time. I say give it back to Mexico and annex Alberta and make it a state.
