The entire world reacted similarly to COVID. Not just the democrats. And Trump was Prez for a large chunk of it and spend trillions in stimulus. Supply chain shortages came from overseas factories. You are trying too hard to make this a democrat thing. Makes you sound partisan and ignorant.

Because economy re-opened, demand surged and battered supply chains could not keep up DUH

We were still down 8 million jobs when Biden got into office, but we were quickly adding them back into economy and posting huge GDP growth in 2021. On top of that consumers drastically changed WHAT they buy and instead of travel and dining are spending on THINGS that need to be built.


Oil production heavily contracted in early 2020 when the world came to a standstill, crude briefly sold for NEGATIVE price and oil companies lost a lot of money. Come 2021, demand has shot back up, but it takes a long time to wind up production again in that uncertainty. And then on top of that Putin decides to go ahead and throw yet another wrench in suppply by starting a war in Ukraine.

Same deal with car parts - car sales plunged in 2020, chips, other part manufacturing and transporting bussiness goes bust, factories at standstill and by the time demand rebounds manufacturers can't meet it. It takes YEARS to re-establish micro-chip production facilities, which is why there are shortages to this day.

Real Estate - again, building and material production halts, then can't keep up with demand.

To even IMAGINE, that these causations would not exist if only Trump won a second term is straight nuts.
