In case anyone gets the urge to jump out of a window, don't do it. Ok?

Dow plunges 600 points as Apple leads broad market sell-off

"Stocks resumed their 2022 sell-off on Thursday, giving back the prior day’s rally and sending the S&P 500 to a new low for the year, as fears swirled that a recession won’t stop the Federal Reserve from raising interest rates."

This is what people will be thinking about when they vote in November.

Well, it was confirmed this morning that we are in a legitimate recession.
So, it will be bumpy for a period of time.
Seems the transitory inflation
really isn't transitory at all.

Yup, and the unprecedented inflation isn't "Putin's price hikes" or "corporate greed". It's bad fiscal policy from an incompetent administration that's causing millions of Americans to suffer.

The silence from Dems is getting a little eerie.
I sure hope they're OK.

Anyone who is still sticking up for Biden or thinks their vote was the correct one is beyond all hope. And anyone who is so blind and arrogant as to mock Trump voters, given what is happening to Americans under Biden, is even worse.

Where's the "Biden's record Stock Market" thread?

It's bad fiscal policy from an incompetent administration that's causing millions of Americans to suffer.
Policy, be specific with an analysis.
Only question now is whether Joe will blame Trump or Putin for it?
Well, you are blaming Biden, so which policy was it, and how is that policy specifically causing millions of Americans to suffer.

C'mon, try to give a legit answer.

Apparently some people don't remember that this is what fighting inflation looks like. The stock market is going to dip and some people are going to lose jobs. It sucks but until someone comes up with a better way to cool off an overheated economy raising interest rates is all we have.
