Tax Records Reveal How Fame Gave Trump a $427 Million Lifeline (Published 2020)
“The Apprentice” rescued Donald J. Trump, bringing him new sources of cash and a myth that would propel him to the White House.www.nytimes.com
‘It was all a hoax’: NYT destroys Trump’s claims of business success — in second blockbuster on his taxes
“But while the story of “The Apprentice” is by now well known, the president’s tax returns reveal another grand twist that has never been truly told — how the popularity of that fictional alter ego rescued him, providing a financial lifeline to reinvent himself yet again. And then how, in an echo of the boom-and-bust cycle that has defined his business career, he led himself toward the financial shoals he must navigate today. Mr. Trump’s genius, it turned out, wasn’t running a company. It was making himself famous — Trump-scale famous — and monetizing that fame,” the newspaper reported."

If he was “broke” why are lefties so butthurt he supposedly didn’t pay any taxes?
What could happen between now and Nov. 3rd?If he was “broke” why are lefties so butthurt he supposedly didn’t pay any taxes?
Because he lied and told you he was the greatest, most successful businessman ever, and he was going to run the country the way he runs his business. And he has kept that promise. That's why you're economy is crashed, your deficit is the largest in history, millions are sick and dying, and millions more are unemployed.
When the left asked to see his taxes, you told them it was none of their business. Well, it turns out that it is very much all of their business, because Trump has been busy trying to raise enough money to pay off the debts that will ruin him within 4 years. Is that why the Saudi's are getting nuclear technology. Did they kiss MBS' ass on the Khashoggi killing because Jared needed a mortgage?
You knew Donald Trump was a liar and a crook when you elected him but you didn't care. He pissed off liberals. When you hang out with a conman and you have no idea who his mark is, it's you, Son.
And the relevance? Even if he came from a tent as a homeless person, he's done more positive things for the U.S. than Biden did in 47 years. Here you go with Part 2 from the NYT and Raw Story.

But this is unacceptable for those who seek or hold public office in the public trust – rendering Trump comprehensively unfit to be president.
Trump conned his way into the WH, he needs to be voted out of office this November as a consequence.
It wasn't off topic. It was just a matter of reading between the lines. The original post, subtly insinuated that because of some bad business deals, he is a poor leader. Then of course, there's the taxes issue. Those that don't like the rich having deductions and loopholes, need get with their political representatives and have them remove them. But, if you remove them, it has to be equal and fair. Whatever deduction and loophole you get rid of, must also be gotten rid of for other taxpayers as well. A straight "X-percent" flat federal tax. No deductions for property and no deductions for dependents. Just a simple flat tax for all.
For example: If you were to earn $50,000 and it was a simple 10% tax, you should pay a flat rate of say, $5,000. If a rich person makes $1,000,000, he or she would simply pay $100,000. The same percentage, only they ARE paying more than you by virtue of their income and thus, a same percentage is fair.
