It was weird, in my AO the Paul-Bots took it over in the span of a month.

I went to a meeting before deer season and it was a bunch of well turned-out folks with good ideas.

A month later it was was a bunch of vagrant lookin' people that stank of and promoted the weed.

I walked out.

Not much different, maybe worse. GHWB was a sell-out to China. Don't you remember the New World Order and Read My Lips? I think that had more to do with Clinton getting elected than Perot did.

I am on record on many forums poo pooing the idea of anyone trying to form a new political party to compete against Republicans and Democrats. There have been so many failed attempts through the years, it's quite obvious (to me) that a viable 3rd Political party in the U.S. is not likely going to rival the GOP or the DNC, in my remaining lifetime. I already have several personal ideas for a Party Name, Symbol, Basic Philosophy, Planks for the Platform, etc. And I hope to share all that in my following posts.

Anyone who tries to use this thread to personally attack, disrupt, and/ or...

The extremeists on bith sides have the affect of making it look like more and more people are moving to the middle, when the middle is hardly moving at all. (my opinion)
