It is believed that the Nordic type is not a natural type for Scandinavia, because it is a gracial type, and its formation is attributed to the southern countries. Many believe that these are Africans who have lost melanin and mixed with local populations.
However, most likely they were proto-Americans. There is about 5% of the Q haplogroup and the gracial type is also characteristic of the Americans. This was the only localization of bronze and iron in Northern Europe; the germans did not know iron. Their cultures are mostly Neolithic, even late, such as the battle ax culture. Most Germans do not have a Nordic type of skeleton; on the contrary, they have a northern type with short limbs and a stocky body.
It was an offshoot of the Altai Afanasyevo culture. That's where the Runes came from.
