No food stamps for any family of a striking worker

I think that is perfectly fair..You wanna work.Work.You wanna walk off the job and strike.Fine.Let the union take care of it's membership, dip into the union dues...

You wanna strike and collect benefits as well....Please,enuf already.

LMAO, isn't it so convent to over look the union strike benefit. They tell you they will take care of you when you are told to strike. But in truth it is nothing but a lie.

I have to belong to a union to work in my job.

But it's weird...I think I pay a little, it's taken out of my check; but I think the state actually pays me that amount....which is then taken. Or something like that. I could pay MORE and be a *real* member if I wanted to. It's all quite confusing.

and all I see is one libturd after another whining about rights they are supposedly losing.

Whatever happened to your right to go to work and be left alone to make a decent living for your family?

I love it, tough love.

Wouldn't it be tough love if a worker strikes because the company etc tries to screw them? I guess it isnt tough love then, and we should feel bad for the company trying to screw the worker, but god forbid we stand up for the worker.

YOu ever wonder why the middle class has been on the decline since you guys started going after unions?

no---a striking worker is taking the risk that he or she is indispensable. Sorta silly with the job market the way it is.

So workers shouldn't stand up for a clean working environment and livable wages because of a poor job market? So businesses should be allowed to lower wages and get rid of benefits?

These rich people got rich on the backs of American workers. So the American workers ask for a fair cut for their work, and you say NO WAY!!!! ALL THE MONEY IS MINE MINE MINE.

And you are okay with that? Thats ridiculous.

22 states have laws forbidding closed shops

perhaps you mean you want to end licensing?

I know I am so frustrating. I mean wouldn't be just easier if I would just agree with you?

I don't see that happening anytime soon. But why should you not stand up for what you think is right? Thats what you say when you limit the ability for people to strike. And thats exactly what this bill will do.

You are truly a stupid ideologue.

Why on earth would a company want to lower wages and get rid of benefits?
Most corporations offer good wages and benefit packages to entice a better caliber employee.
Oh wait... Im sorry, you probably know nothing about that. :eusa_whistle:

Those evil rich people you joke about.... if ya hadnt noticed..... they pay your wages dumbass.

Grow the **** up :cuckoo:

Companies aren't run with the long-term in mind

Thing 2: Companies should not be run in the interest of their owners

So Wal Mart pays really well? I don't think so.

Yes for educated people. Yes I have what you might call a real job. I like to teach, but I also know that some of my students are made for that. Parents aren't happy that I say their son or daughter isn't really fit for college. But I tell them that if they specialize in a certain skilled labor, they will be more happy.

Some kids like to have things in their hands and do something. Some like myself, like to broaden my horizons, read and learn. I like to do that. We need labor in this country, but you keep lowering the initial wage like the cartels are doing. Its going to reduce our purchasing power, reducing the ability to take care of their families.

Its very bad news for America when we don't pay our workers decent, livable wages.

I could turn this entire thread on its head and say that if you support illegal immigration, you cant possibly believe what you posted.
If we keeps lowering the standards for "cheap" labor, we will never be able offer really good wages.

BUT... I wont do that tonight. Im too tired.

You dont sound like a bad guy JFK. Sorry I was nasty earlier.

Been on of those days.

That's what happens when you allow Unions to do your thinking for you.
