No food stamps for any family of a striking worker

People can unionize as much as they want; they have freedom of association.

They do not have the right to force employers into collective bargaining agreements.
They put a gun to the boss's head? They don't force the bosses into the agreements any more than the bosses force the workers into the agreements.

In the Public Sector Unions? What SEAT does the Taxpayer have at the negotiations? Can the Taxpayer VOTE on that contract?

Now go read about what it was like before we had unions

I don't need to go back and read. I'm well versed in the history of unions, I would bet better than you. I grew up in a blue collar neighborhood in Boston for Christ's sake. No one here is disputing the positive impact that unions had in their birth. The problem is they aren't the same organizations that they were back in the 1930s. That's the problem many of you don't seem to get through your head. You have to keep referencing things they did 60 years ago in order to justify their destructive behavior today. Doesn't that tell you something?
We see others do the same thing when defending the GOP by talking about slavery

When has slavery been introduced into this topic? That's right...NOW it has by your hand...and Price/Tea/China...unless *YOU* admit that their members are SLAVES unto them?

I love it, tough love.

Wouldn't it be tough love if a worker strikes because the company etc tries to screw them? I guess it isnt tough love then, and we should feel bad for the company trying to screw the worker, but god forbid we stand up for the worker.

YOu ever wonder why the middle class has been on the decline since you guys started going after unions?

Or better yet, negotiate better strike pay. food stamps are for those who are unable to work, or through no action of there own find them selves out of work, and is meant to be a temporary fix not a long term benefit. A striking union member does not fall under this criteria, remember that they walked off the job so let them cut grass or work fast food until the strike is over. They dont need any more tax payer money.

If people don't like what's going on with the government, why do they keep voting for the same assholes?

The American people clearly have no real complaints.

*Educating themselves...but they choose NOT TO* So they get what they deserve. Loss of their Liberties left to others like Government and UNIONS...that aren't their friends by any stretch.

Look folks? Unions were OK at one point and time. Alot of laws to protect workers were crafted in their early work...NOW they have become what they fought against...*TYRANTS*...due to their greed and lust for power.

THEY can be voted out when their policies hurt the company...and people steer away from their product...tht's why most that vote CEO's in are Investors...Stock holders...that can boot'em...

Dictated by the Market...

The one I work for is.

And for those that work for any of them...can take their talents elsewhere and don't have to rely upon Union Goons/Thugs...to speak for them.

hey look people on welfare create jobs....someone has to process the forms and prepare the checks....if there was no one on welfare......those people would be out of work....:eusa_angel:

15th post
Once again Republicans do everything they can to stack the deck against workers ability to negotiate

And those who run a union can be voted out. If anything, it's easier to vote out the top guy of a union than a corporate CEO. How many CEOs are the majority stock holders of their company?

In any event, you're dodging the issue. Corporate execs are just as capable of being just as much of tyrants to their employees, if not moreso, than any union.

And...of course...no response to the above.

Several pages of responses...but still not nterested in addresssing this TM?

Why is that?

Its all meaningless crap and not what Unions do.

Now tell me how much you know about the start of unions in the US?

yes they do dipshit.....Unions will protect the useless with their last breath......at least mine does.....and im talking healthy people who just cant or wont do the job.....
