NO EXIT? How will the U S be able to extricate itself from Trump's "little excursion"?

Sure bro everything is business as usual over there
That’s not what I said. There being a carrier battle group in the region with a MEU on it is the norm though. A MEU isn’t designed to take over or invade a country. Certainly not one the size of Iran.

That "girls school" was in a military building in a military complex, we know we don't target civilians.
That had not been a military complex for quite a while. Pentagon Pete loves his bad intel.

We'll see. I hope you're right but I remember from the W days how festively conservatives cheer on ground invasions.

Actually Admiral Cooper planned the US action not Pete.
But cheap shots are all democrats have when they are at 18%.
Actually the alcoholic Hegseth was one of the ones Trump threw under the bus when asked why we launched this attack.

"Based on what Steve and Jared and Pete and others were telling me, Marco is so involved, I thought they were going to attack us" - the pedophile 4 days ago

Trump has admitted that he doesn't have an exit strategy, and that there are no specific conditions to ending this war. No plan.

"When I feel it in my bones", he says. His generals have to be horrified.

This war is affecting most of the world, directly or indirectly. He is, and remains, a disgrace.

Objective #1: Destroying Iran's missile capabilities

Objective #2: Knocking off Iran's navy

Objective #3: Ensuring Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon

Objective #4: Ensuring the Iranian regime cannot arm, fund, and direct terrorist armies outside their borders

22, 24, and 26 MEU (also known as the East Coast MEU's) there is almost always one in the MED/Gulf region.

There's no reason to hope. I KNOW. I was Marine for 23 years I've been on those floats. I know what their schedule looks like. Don't be alarmed but there's a MEU active 100% of the time in Japan. There is also almost always one patrolling in the Pacific too. Guess what that's not an indication we are sending troops into N Korea or China either.

It ******* hilarious how hyperbolic you all get over shit that's been happening your entire life, you were aware of it but because some fear mongering new agency does an article about it you shit your pants and get your panties all in a twist.
I think this war in Iran is completely stupid, and the Trump admin listens to the Israeli's far too much. That said I highly doubt we put US troops on the ground in Iran, and I have seen zero indication that the US is looking to do that.

The Active Iranian military is like 600k strong. WTF are 5000 Marines going to do in and invasion of that country even if that were the Trump Admin's intent?

A nice rant about nothing I posted, but I bet it made you feel good.

I love America, not foreign devils of which you are one. Rubio said we were sucked in by Israel and Saudi Arabia. Americans are dying for foreign devil countries.
I’m a “foreign devil”? What the hell is wrong with your brain?

/—-/ Only democRATs want to telegraph our next move to the enemy. You idiot.
Your hyper-partisan derangement distorts your cerebral acuity,

Your addled messiah (of whom most Americans consistently disapprove) has been incoherent.

Facing jittery global markets and drooping poll numbers since launching a war with Iran, Trump has cycled from calls for “unconditional surrender” to sounding amenable to an end state in which Iran trades one hard-line ayatollah for another.
Shifting comments from the Republican president and his top aides are adding to the precariousness of the 12-day-old conflict, which is impacting nearly every corner of the Middle East and causing economic tremors around the globe. With neither side budging, the war is now on an unpredictable path and a credible endgame is unclear.

/—-/ He’s sending mixed messages to confuse whoever is left in charge. We did it in WWII all the time to confuse the Nazis.
