NO EXIT? How will the U S be able to extricate itself from Trump's "little excursion"?

It was said by another Iranian official that Iran is prepared for a decade of war against the Israelites and the Americans.
Israelites? Is this 1500 BC?

We call them Israelis.

Also, Iran doesn’t have two months’ worth of equipment. This will be over within weeks, and the world will be rid of the evil Islamic Terrorist Regime of Iran.

I know that makes you anti-American leftists sad.

I think the answer to that would be classified.

It would be much too helpful for them if the Mullahs of Iran knew that information.

When the U.S. was working on the nuclear bombs for the endgame to WWII, how much in advance did FDR announce it?
At one point, Trump leaked his endgame: "unconditional surrender."

Was that a disinformation ruse?

With the monumental cost of his "brief excursion," Republicans hoping the capricious warlord cuts and runs (whilst declaring "Victory!" of course) before the midterms must get verklempt when he boasts that
".... we have virtually unlimited ammunition, and we’re using it. We’re using it. We can go forever!"

Could be. Setting the bar high for the start of negotiations.

Or it could have been Trump's well-known habit of blurting out an answer when asked a question that might be better thought through.

Maybe a combination of the two.

Or maybe he really expects unconditional surrender. Seems a better alternative for the Iranians than the same fate as Khameinei and his son.

Yeah, Trump says a lot of stuff that makes the TDS community cry. I pay much more attention to his actions.

Hegseth blowing smoke out of his ass again.

Pete Hegseth on Strait of Hormuz: ‘Don’t need to worry about it’

“Of course, for decades, Iran has threatened shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. This is always what they do, hold the strait hostage,” he said.

“We planned for it. :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: We recognize it,” Hegseth told a reporter who asked him why the Pentagon had not planned for the strait being choked off to traffic.

“Ultimately, we want to do it sequentially in the way that makes the most sense for what we want to achieve,” he said, without detailing specific plans.

Echoes of 2003. You're just a few weeks away from sending our solders off to die and calling anybody that doesn't want to do that a soldier hating traitor.
Has there been any indication that the US intends to put actual "boots on the ground" in Iran? If we have I missed it.

Trump has admitted that he doesn't have an exit strategy, and that there are no specific conditions to ending this war. No plan.

"When I feel it in my bones", he says. His generals have to be horrified.

This war is affecting most of the world, directly or indirectly. He is, and remains, a disgrace.

Of course you do. Never a word of condemnation for the Islamic savages who threaten the world and launch terrorist attaxks.

You ARE a leftist, after all. You hate America, hate Jews, and love Islamists.
A nice rant about nothing I posted, but I bet it made you feel good.

I love America, not foreign devils of which you are one. Rubio said we were sucked in by Israel and Saudi Arabia. Americans are dying for foreign devil countries.

Much has been made about US Navy escorting ships thru the strait. But under normal circumstances there are 100 ships a day passing thru it. There is no way the Navy can facilitate that pace.

The only way to get things back to normal is a negotiated solution (not happening) or a military takeover of the part of Iran bordering on the strait (not feasible).

Don and Pete would have us believe they thought of all this. :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg:

They way you people love your political leaders, that's a YOU thing.

OVer here we politically support political leaders.

Try to be less weird.
Where are you at? They've lowered the price of renouncing US citizenship by 80%.

Says who? Who says it needs to by a 1 to 1 ratio?

Keep watching.

You are overlooking the experienced and brilliant admirals and generals. Keep watching.

1991 Gulf War was a case of not finishing what got started.
Most strategists advise if one starts a war, only stop once your goals are achieved.

You are assuming the majority population that objects to and opposes the ayatollah theocracy will not revolt and replace the Islamic Jihad regime now that the USA is pulling it's teeth of suppression.

There is a whif of desperation in all of these predictions of mission failure.
