New York Attorney General Letitia James and State Education Commissioner Betty Rosa are threatening legal action against schools that attempt to block or increase the difficulty for illegal immigrants to register their children for public school.

On Monday, James and Rosa wrote in a letter to the public school districts, “Policies that make it difficult or impossible for migrant children and youth to enroll in school are contrary to state education regulations and may expose schools to legal liability.”

Yes the US has stuck it's nose into their affairs on more occasions than was warranted, but that's in the past. Now we give them billions of dollars every year to support their governments and most of it goes into secret bank accounts for the rich and powerful. Thats not the way it works buttercup, WE allow the government to collect the amount of money NECESSARY and only necessary for the minimal functions allowed by the Tenth Amendment. The government already takes far more than it should and wastes almost all of what it takes.
