The poll says it was conducted amongst registred voters it showed Trump at 40 percent. Rasmussen shows Trump at 48 at that time. Condescension is all well and good. Doing it while being wrong just makes you look like an ass.

Rasmussen completely missed the 2018 election. If their likely voters poll is closer to 2018 then they are 9 points or so off.

That is not necessarily true. There are independents who vote Democrat and independents who vote Republican. Frank Luntz says there are no such things as independents and you can classify them as Democrats and Republicans based on their voting history. I don't necessarily totally buy it but there are likely fewer independents than the statistics show.
