Depends on where she is. Some places let you defend yourself in your home or place of residence. Some do not, reflecting it is more in line with the law to die in place, rather than discharge a weapon to stop a threat to you and your family, or possibly suffer penalties of law. No matter, I would take my chances with the penalties of law, know that as society changes, those that deem in unacceptable to defend yourself, and those that blindly follow will slowly be weaned from the gene pool by Darwinism and natural selection.
