We can hope. But Biden has appointed more federal judges than either Obama or Trump did and who knows who those are beholden to, but I am encouraged that the malicious prosecution against Trump in NY is at least slowed down a bit. If convicted in NY Trump will certainly appeal the verdict.

Oh, and this is a state level civil case so it follows state structure.

• State Supreme Court is the trial level court,
• Appellate Division is the intermediate appeals level,
• "Court of Appeals" is the highest level of state court.

So to appeal to the United States Supreme Court from the New York Court of Appeals FPOTUS#45 will have to exhaust all state courts and then can only appeal on FEDERAL Constructional issues. I mean he can submit an Writ of Certiorari all day long, but the SCOTUS isn't going to accept an appeal based on "I committed fraud, got caught, and don't like being punished."
