You expected statesmanship or class? Fools. (-:
Of course the Trumpbots don't want that. And frankly the message of arming places of worship works for them.
Not really.
This, however, has nothing to do with statesmanship or class. It has to do with pointless pontificating. Trump should not have justified the rally in the first place, doing so is asinine. There was zero reason to cancel anything. The entire 'issue' is faux outrage and pathetic.
Of course, Trump could not pass a good opportunity up to make random shit up on the spot so he went ahead and did it anyway.
Well, I agree about his pointlessness. But he wasn't about to accept that the major stories were bombs delivered to his opponents or slaughter based on divisiveness. The story had to be about him, and his huge wins. That's not just what he feeds his ego but also what he's betting the off year election on.
Showing some respect for families of dead people is less important than his act.
That is not showing respect for anything?
Did you go to work the next day? How about shopping. Did you buy anything the day after? What about during the event - my guess is that you likely did not change your routine one iota during and after the bombs were sent. I wonder how many of those politicians stopped fundraising over the next few days? If the DNC halted all operations for the next few days? None of that happened of course. They, and I bet you, just went on with your day - as we all should. Except those in political office that you don't like - they of course need to drop everything and cater to your perception of what they should or should not be doing.
What is more important than his rally, than pontificating about 'respect for the families' (of which no one was actually injured in the first place as well so 'slaughter' is an asinine term here) is actually remembering that politics is not about bullshit like this but rather about policy.
You want Trump to shrivel and die tomorrow then the electorate has to STOP doing bullshit like complaining about his rally and more true introspection on policy and what direction the country should actually be going in.
