Bye, bye interest rate cut! Prices going up, thanks to Trump and his inflationary policies, war, tariffs and mathmatical ineptitude. Oil prices effect everything, shipping costs and all consumer prices! If anything the Fed will have to raise rates even though Trump would never understand why!

Trump fiddles with ballrooms and Cuba while America burns. Sure glad I don't have one of those big gas guzzling MAGA pickups!

Bigly!!!

He's got a long way to go to catch up to Carter or Biden.
The next 2 worst would be W. Bush and Obama.
Are there gas shortages in America? No? Pipe the fawk down then. 😐
Trump literally has OPEC on our side now, and that's a game changer.

The kick in the ass is that this wasn’t caused by covid
Not caused by supply bottlenecks

It is an entirely unforced error

Trump DID this to us

Inflation was 3.3 percent last month. Let me know when it hits 9 percent…like it did under xiden
Why did it hit 9%? Inflation is supposed to be going down not up 3.3% more you idiot. This is all Trump's doing.

Carlson accused Trump of neglecting Americans who want a job, affordable healthcare and an “emergency room that’s not crowded. They also want the freedom to criticize their leaders

“You hate people like that,” Carlson said. “And there may be other reasons you hate them. But you certainly hate them because they are a reminder of how you have failed. You have not done a good job running this country. You don’t even care to try. You’d rather run the world or the empire. You don’t want to improve Baltimore. You don’t care about Gary, Indiana. Rural America makes you sick. … Normal leaders would ask themselves, ‘Why are people mad? What are they dissatisfied with? How can I help them? They’re clearly in pain.’”

“They’ve never looked inward once in 10 years,” he said, perhaps using the plural third person to include Trump and his administrations. “And now they’ve reached the point of maximum frustration, where the biggest thing they’ve ever done, which is try to regime-change the Iranian government, and it hasn’t worked. That’s the biggest thing they’ve ever done. They staked everything on that. And you should just know that at this point, now that that’s not working out, they will not be mad at themselves. They’re gonna be mad at you for not liking it or appreciating it or for talking about it at all.”

It was over 9 percent in June of 2022, in the middle of the Xiden admin.

Yes, I would prefer it go down, and has most of the time Trump's been in office, this 3.3 percent is only transitory due to the Iranian regimes behavior.

Why? Not Biden's fault. But this is Trump's fault.

There is no reason for inflation today. But yet it's going up and up and up. After we already suffered enough inflation under Xiden. Remember? Trump said he would bring prices down. Of course he lied.

hahah it wasn't Xiden's fault?? Who's fault was it?? He had been in office and his policies were in place....it was his second year in office, half way through it

Trump has no control over the Iranian's behavior.

Moreover, it's 3.3 percent....compare that to the four years of Xiden. ..he avg over four years 4.95 percent....that one month is still massively BELOW what Xiden avg over his four years

Nope, Biden is still the inflation president…

Honestly, who gives a shit??? Not me. My support for this POTUS was/is based on his cultural and social designs, not the economy. The economy probably isn’t in the Top 25 things I base my political support on. Never has been and probably never will be.

You blame Xiden for a global pandemic? Of every country we did the best during the pandemic.

Inflation and prices should be coming down not going up 3.3% MORE after 4 years of Xiden. You idiots! You'll swallow anything. Come here and open your mouth. I got something you'll like.

when did I blame him for a global pandemic? I blame him for hyperinflation in the United States.

There was no global pandemic in June of 2022.

At the height of the pandemic in 2020 inflation was really low, and kept low due to real leadership.

Also the people applying for unemployment last week hasn't been that low since 1969. Liberals are gonna go into meltdown mode soon and I cannot wait!

Let me know when the inflation rate hits 9.1%. Try again.

Stopped Iran from having a nuclear bomb? That's good for America and the world, we know it sucks for you.

We have been told that Iran had 60% enriched uranium that would only take weeks to convert to weapons grade… for YEARS now

If they were intent on having a bomb you would think they would have already made one.

NK did and we leave them alone

As far as a missile with the range to hit the US?

NK has been trying for years and they still don’t have one. Why would Iran do better?

Why haven’t they already?

No, it wasn't.

I mean this really is some simple ass shit. During Covid the economy literally collapsed, unemployment was at levels not seen since the depression. And yes, as if by magic, worker income went UP. That was due to all those Covid stimulus checks, additional unemployment benefits, and PPP loans. And sure, some of those unemployed people making more sitting on their ass than they did on their job, unloaded that money. Hell, back then, you couldn't keep flatscreens and game consoles on the shelf.

But many people, including all the members of my family, continued to work, stayed home, and banked that money. You can look, savings rates during Covid were at historically high levels. When Biden took office the economy was just starting to open up. In the time period of that nine percent inflation, three out of every four dollars of new printed money, ie, debt, came from Trump.

Trump's throw money from helicopter approach, with no targeting, no purpose, just blindly handing out money, is what was behind that inflation. Until that excess money, all that additional savings, worked its way through the economy, inflation was going to be a problem.
