If you want to take a lesson from history, here are a few:

Modern humans first appeared roughly 200,000 years ago

Agriculture and civilization are just over 5,000 years old

CO2 is higher today than it has been in over 3 million years.

For the past 6,000 years up until the Industrial Revolution when we began burning fossil fuels for energy, the Earth's temperature was steadily cooling.

The last time the Earth was as warm as it is today was 125,000 years ago, 120,000 years before the development of agriculture and cities.

The last time Earth's oceans were as high as today was 120,000 years ago, 115,000 years before the development of agriculture and cities.

If you don't think humans should fuck with Mother Nature, I suggest we stop emitting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere
