You also seem to be unaware of the feudalism ongoing in the Banana Republics ... what makes the United States economy so prosperous is exploiting the labor and natural wealth of other countries ... how many times have we sent in the Marines when a Latin American country didn't vote the way we told them to ...

OF course I read Brave New World, and I, unlike you, understand why and how the comparison to what the documentary is explaining is apt. Why? Because I have watched the documentary, and was familiar with the material in it even before I watched it.

Of course it is. I was on a forum a couple of years ago with a bunch of climate alarmists. I looked up a lot of research from NOAA, UN-FAO, peer review, etc. I found that temperatures probably have recently increased, but they were actually and probably higher in Roman times. I basically found these five things:

-There is more global food than ever
-There are more global trees than 40 years ago
-Climate deaths have significantly dropped in the past 100 years
-Extreme weather has remained the same or declined
-Polar bears are increasing

Any links would be appreciated. Especially on the CO aruond the time of ROME.

The first part is understanding what is climate and what is weather. Climate is the parameters of Earth that allow certain ranges of weather. We don't get Cat 10 canes now, but we would if Earth had no ice.

What are the parameters of climate that can change?

Ocean levels
Atmospheric thickness
Temperature
Humidity


What controls those?

The amount of ice on the planet. Period. Ocean level is 100% inversely correlated to Earth ice content (on land, not sea ice, which is pathetically small) - duh. Trapped in ice age glacier is compressed gas. When it snows 10 feet, you can compress...
