No they didn't. Nazis marched with torches, surrounded counter-protesters, and tried to intimidate them. When that didn't work, they grew more violent and drove a car into those counter-protesters, killing one and injuring 19. You are blaming the victims and you're doing so, why? To achieve balance? For who? For you so you can feel better about yourself and put up the facade that you're above the fray when all you're doing by drawing an equivalence is legitimizing Nazis.

The Nazis were not peacefully assembling. They were surrounding people with torches, chanting "Blood and Soil" (an old Nazi rally cry), then intimidating and murdering people who protested their bigotry.
