[Zhukov]

A Play By eMail board game set in 1792 Europe.

It's free (you can pay if you want to to get some extra benefits, which seem pretty overpowering actually), and you are randomly assigned any of a number of powers:

Majors: Austria, England, Ottoman, Russia, France
Minors: Prussia, Bavaria, Naples, Algeria, Poland, Spain, Sweden


It operates once a week, I've only just submitted my second turn, but still it seems like fun.

If you like board games like Risk and Axis & Allies, I gurantee you'll like this.

It seems to be really interesting (and from 1792 to the end of the 1st Empire, nice time ) but in english, for me it wouldn't be easy.
Do you know others game in several languages ?

I only just found that one by randomly surfing around.

Came across it via links of links of links et cetera.

I don't know about games of that sort in other languages, but you might check the game's forum and ask people if there is a translation of the rules, or if anyone there knows of similar games in other languages.

You can search, by genre, for a variety of types of PBeM's. I think I even saw one where the description was written in French.
